Hi all. I follow a bunch of different Disney- and art-themed Instagram profiles, and thought this would be a nice thread to share any Disney-related artwork you may have encountered online, whether on Instagram, Twitter or elsewhere. I looked for an existing thread for something like this but couldn't find any -- if there already is one, mods please fold this post into it.
The Instagram post that prompted me to start this thread is this one by Steven Thompson who works for Disney (one of his endeavors is designing Disney-themed Christmas ornaments). This one was created for EPCOT's International Festival of Arts.

There's also a Hunchback one:

This is what home media cover art should be like instead of crap we've been getting.
And this GORGEOUS one also created for EPCOT's International Festival of Arts, by Dylan Bonner:

Edit: I'm not sure if the pics are showing or if it's possible to embed Instagram posts into a forum post; hopefully you all can still access the links.

The links worked for me! I loved all 3!

Perfect! I'm glad you like them
Forgot to add, what I love about the third one is that it reuses an official, but unused concept art for the look of Snow White's wedding dress. And all the characters are on-model and drawn in their unique style -- I'm particularly impressed with Jasmine as she's been quite off-model in recent merchandise.

I have been following them both on Instagram. I love Dylan Bonner's art in particular, especially that beautiful one with the Princesses in their wedding dresses. I hope a physical print will be available on his Etsy shop, because I would gladly buy one.

If it's not baroque, don't fix it.

I had to wait until I was somewhere with high-speed internet access before I could open Instagram. That picture of the wedding dresses is gorgeous. I'm so glad Cinderella, Ariel, and Tiana have wedding dresses. It's especially a shame to me that they didn't give Belle one. I guess I understand why not--they wanted to show Beast in the ballroom attire as a human, I think. They could've done one of those swinging shots perhaps, with them in the ballroom attire at first and then as they turn the next time the camera's on them, they're in wedding attire.
If they ever put Thumbelina and Anastasia in the line, the best thing is they could use Thumbelina's gorgeous wedding dress in drawing compilations like this in fandom.

Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ "Elizabeth Taylor"
Katy Perry ~ "bandaid"
Meghan Trainor ~ "Still Don't Care"

Agreed. Even the current ending lends itself to your idea so it may have been planned that way -- the Prince exclaims "It is a miracle!", lifts Belle up in the air, swirls her around, you see her petticoat, and the scene transitions into her wearing gold dress in the ballroom. It would be expected that the next scene would show them in their wedding attire, but alas it wasn't meant to be. Probably for budgetary reasons; after all, the whole ending dance sequence was repurposed from Sleeping Beauty. It feels kind of lazy that they'd be shown in the same outfits they've worn before.Disney's Divinity wrote: ↑Mon Jan 02, 2023 1:00 pmIt's especially a shame to me that they didn't give Belle one.
