that covers just makes this film justice! It is pretty, I like the background, though that cover is going to change a lot from now to March, but they´ll keep the idea.

Well, it's late and I'm bored, so I whipped up a quick idea of what I think would be a nice cover for Bambi. Just click here -

http://www.geocities.com/uthabiti/bambi.htm

- obviously, I used the existing art, plus the nicer title from the European trailer for the PE; the one that glenn posted here about a month ago. I know it doesn't match up to the "Platinum style" of main character(s) with sidekicks encircling them, but I'm a fan of more abstract, less in-your-face promotional art. :)

Now, I don't claim to be any kind of artist... and I only have very basic art programs on my ancient computer (try Adobe PhotoDeluxe...). So, the art ain't perfect! But I just adore that background on the existing cover, so I wanted to see if I could fashion a custom out of it. ;)

Life often leaves us standing bare, naked and dejected with a lost opportunity. Over the bleached bones and jumbled residues of numerous civilizations are written the pathetic words: "Too late."

VERY BAD!! (talkin aout the official one)

Look at Thumper! WHERE DOES HE LOOKING AT????
Bambi looks like Quasimodo, it is NOT the Bambi i watched twice a day!

Hope for a classier cover for Europe.

It's awful. The cover for the VHS release was better.

Well done Lindsay! Has all the class of the better European covers.

I like the Bambi cover. It's nice and simple, nothing to complex. Anyway, I don't care about cover art and disc art as much as the quality of the video and audio. Plus, the only part you actually see when the DVDs are sitting on the shelf is the spine! :)

I like the official coverart. It's bright and colorful. :) There is a butterfly on Bambi's nose. lol. The cover reminds me of Brother Bear for some reason. There's an elk or a moose in the right standing on Pride Rock. lol

While I like the cover, I feel that Bambi's mom was cheated out of a spot. She's cooler than the Prince of the Forest any day!

I find that cover HORRIBLE, and I'm pretty sure that is a fake or something non definitive. Can't you see it? It's just a collage of images yet done, and the title is not like the one in the R2 Brother Bear DVD trailer.

I hope to watch a better Bambi cover in the future.
I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.

I like the design of the cover, I just hope they alter the characters slightly (it's obvious they've just been cut and pasted from the Masterpiece Collection VHS), and replace the logo with that from the trailer that was posted a while ago.

Otherwise, it's perfect!
