DTVA is working with Baobab Studios on a show called "The Witchverse".
Disney Branded Television is in development with nine-time Emmy Award-winning international animation studio Baobab Studios on "The Witchverse," an all-new animated anthology series based on Baobab Studios' acclaimed, award-winning interactive experience "Baba Yaga." Working closely with Baobab Studios, Disney Television Animation is overseeing the development of the project for Disney+. Eric Darnell, writer and director of "Baba Yaga," "Madagascar" and "Antz" and Baobab's co-founder and chief creative officer, will executive-produce the series.

"The Witchverse" is a global celebration of the international cultural phenomena of witches, their magic and their universal connection to nature. Each witch-i-sode will comically explore and upend common misconceptions surrounding global witch mythology and lore from a mรฉlange of cultures and perspectives around the world.

Three-time Emmy Award-winning VR experience and animated short film "Baba Yaga," which serves as inspiration for "The Witchverse," is a contemporary portrayal of the Eastern European legend Baba Yaga, an enigmatic witch who uses her powers to stop villagers whose settlement encroaches upon her enchanted forest. The immersive experience is brought to life with illustrative 2D pop-up animation, as well as hand-drawn and stop-motion styles and explores themes of empowerment and environmentalism. "Baba Yaga" will serve as a starting point for episode one of the new series.

Forgive me, but I'm chuckling so hard at this.

I mean ... CG cars with eyes were usually always those legally-dubious Cars knockoffs, right? This is legit Disney. rotfl

DTVA is working with Titmouse on a show called "Kiff". Update: The trailer for the show has been released.
Disney Channel has ordered "Kiff," a nutty animated buddy-comedy series from South African creators and executive producers Lucy Heavens ("Space Chickens in Space") and Nic Smal ("Caillou") debuting in 2023. Emmy Award-winner Kent Osborne ("SpongeBob SquarePants," "Phineas and Ferb") is co-producer and story editor.

The series follows Kiff, an optimistic squirrel whose best intentions often lead to complete chaos, and her best friend Barry, a sweet and mellow bunny. Set in the bustling mountains, where animals and magical creatures live together in harmony, the series features the duo, who take the town by storm with their endless adventures and zest for life. Each half-hour episode, comprised of two 11-minute stories, will include a new original song.

Meredith Roberts, senior vice president/general manager, Television Animation, Disney Channels, said, "Lucy and Nic are a brilliant creative team who produced a fresh and funny series with vibrant visuals that help bring the friendship between a squirrel and a bunny to life in a unique way. We can't wait to introduce viewers to Kiff, Barry and their whole wonderfully wacky world." "Kiff" is produced by Titmouse in association with Disney Channel.

The presentation also included the announcement of season three renewals for Disney Junior megahits "Marvel's Spidey and his Amazing Friends" and "Mickey Mouse Funhouse" and additional episode orders for some of Disney Television Animation's upcoming series, including "Hamster & Gretel," "Kiff," "Hailey's On It" and "Primos."

"Kiff" (Additional 10 Episodes Ordered, Bringing Season One Total to 30)
Produced by: Titmouse in association with Disney Channel
Creators/Executive Producers: Lucy Heavens and Nic Smal
Co-Producer/Story Editor: Kent Osborne

From South African creators Lucy Heavens and Nic Smal, "Kiff" is set in the bustling mountains where you'll find animals and magical creatures living happily together, and at the center of it all is Kiff, an optimistic squirrel whose best intentions often lead to complete chaos. Along with her best friend, Barry, a sweet and mellow bunny, this duo takes their town by storm with their endless adventures and zest for life.

During a Disney EMEA Annecy Studio Focus panel, the House of Mouse announced โ€œKiff,โ€ a new kidโ€™s series from South African creators Lucy Heavens and Nic Smal, to be co-produced with Titmouse and distributed by Disney worldwide in 2023. A musical comedy series for older kids. โ€œKiffโ€ follows its titular character, an energetic squirrel, and her bunny bestie Barry. โ€œItโ€™s about a kid who lives with her parents and goes to school, and the comedy is all in the tone and the characters that weโ€™ve created,โ€ Heavens explained. โ€œ[The word] โ€˜Kiffโ€™ in South Africa is slang for cool, awesome or rad, itโ€™s the pinnacle,โ€ Smal Said. โ€œLike a good pair of blue jeans, it will never go out of style. Thatโ€™s what the world needs. If the world comes at you with bad vibes and you show love and kindness, they got nothing.โ€
Source: https://variety.com/2021/tv/festivals/t ... 234999255/
Smal and Heavens then shared an early clip of Kiff singing a hardcore rap track about why she is far too busy to brush her one oversized incisor before leaving the house for the day. In the end, Mom is left unswayed and Kiff retreats to the bathroom to clean her pearly white. Series is developed and produced by Disney Television Animation in L.A. where โ€œPhineas and Ferbโ€ vet Kent Osborn is on board as co-producer and story editor.

I don't know if other countries had this special opening to broadcast strip programming of old Disney television shows, but I was just reminded of this and how I used to watch this when I was young:

I love the Disney Afternoon intro! The U.S. had it too as part of Disney's animated block for syndication, but instead of instrumental music, it was accompanied by a song. It featured only Disney Afternoon characters though; it's weird they spliced in footage from classics like The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid and Aladdin in yours.

There were three variations with original animation from what I recall.

I had a feeling that there's a different source for it. I'm guessing they decided to remove the song entirely instead of dubbing it.

I also thought it was weird they added footage from The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid and Aladdin movies instead of the TV shows, but I'm guessing they did it by mistake.

The studio has a show in the works called "Cookies & Milk".
"Cookies & Milk," an original animated series based on the forthcoming middle grade novel of the same name by Shawn Amos, is in development at Disney Branded Television's animation studio, Disney Television Animation. The executive producers are Laurence Fishburne and Helen Sugland of Cinema Gypsy Productions (ABC's "black-ish" and Disney Channel's upcoming "Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur"), Jesse Murphy and James Sears Bryant of Jesse James Films, and Shawn Amos. Brian Egeston ("The Game," the upcoming film "On A Wing and A Prayer") is set as co-executive producer and story editor.

The debut novel is semi-autobiographical, inspired by the childhood of Shawn Amos, a blues musician and the son of iconic Wallace "Wally" Amos Jr., founder of the Famous Amos chocolate chip cookie brand. The "Cookies & Milk" teleplay follows the summer adventures of harmonica-playing middle schooler Ellis Johnson as he begrudgingly helps his wildly optimistic and quite possibly magical father open the world's first cookie shop in 1970s Hollywood, California.

DTVA is working with Baobab Studios on a show called "Intercats".
"Intercats," an animated sitcom set in a cat workplace, is in development at Disney Branded Television with multiple Emmy Award-winning Baobab Studios and acclaimed screenwriter Pamela Ribon. Ribon has also begun her own first-look agreement with Disney Branded Television's animation studio, Disney Television Animation, which is working closely with Baobab Studios ("The Witchverse") on the development of "Intercats." Eric Darnell (writer and director of "Baba Yaga," "Madagascar" and "Antz" and Baobab's co-founder and chief creative officer) is the creator and is executive-producing "Intercats." Gary Marsh is also an executive producer. Jony Chandra ("Nimona," "Spies in Disguise") will direct.

Meredith Roberts, executive vice president, TV Animation, Disney Branded Television, said, "We're fortunate to be partnering with Baobab for a second time and to be working with Pam whose smart, sly, sophisticated and inspiring humor ensures that 'Intercats' will provide wild fun, rich characterizations and accessible entry points for every part of the Disney+ audience. We're thrilled to have her on this project - and to expand the relationship to include a first-look deal with our Disney TV Animation studio."

Told through the big reflective eyes of cats, "Intercats" is a four-quadrant animated workplace comedy about the cats who produce the hysterical cat videos that go viral on the Internet. It features a ragtag team of cats aspiring to get what all cats want: their independence. But, to do so, they must first learn to navigate their own internal relationships and build upon their success as the premiere studio for viral cat videos. "Intercats" reflects the heroic lengths we will all go to find and secure our own place in the world.

Why is Rayaโ€™s outline on the banner? A mistake or an announcement of a spinoff TV show?

That's a fan account that is notorious for posting fan-edited images and custom-made logos and passing them as official. They are also infamous for taking people's photos and art from their social media accounts and websites and reposting them without credit or linkback.

In the image in question, the logo itself is legit, taken from here, but the background is fan-created, based on this official image.
