I didn't even know the Globes was today!

The only anachronistic line that sticks out to me was about the rat telenovelas and even there you can handwave it as being something Bruno saw in one of his future visions.
Fair enough, but they felt anachronistic too me. Simply because they felt jarringly out of place in that context. Besides, if they were going to have a Hercules-reference, why not having it look like it came from Disney`s
Hercules?
well yeah that musical number goes all over the place visually(Ancient Greece! Titanic! Flying Donkey Unicorns!) while the others are more grounded. It did feel like it belonged in a different kind of animated movie. In fact writing this now I realize it reminded me a lot of Aladdin's Friend Like Me. Herc not being Disney Herc bothered me a lot more

yeah right? I thought maybe it just hit harder with millennials and younger generations but that's not it b/c i think most of the members here are millennials. Maybe its to do with whether or not you have more preference for the more traditional Disney animated musicals of the Walt era and 90's Renaissance. Zoomers/Gen Y especially would have been more open to the different kind of animated film structure of the post Renaissance Disney dominated era(Dreamworks, the Pixars). Also its weird how so many of them are obsessed with Bruno.

Like I get Camilo b/c he's a teen and he's cute and the younger users on social media glomp onto those types of characters but but... a 50 year old hobo looking dude in a dirty poncho? I get that he doesn't really look 50 and he has the whole sad puppy eyed woobie thing going on. I mean I love the guy myself but Im only a year less his actual age, what are zoomers seeing in him? Its baffling!

You thought Camillo was going to be annoying?

He was the character I was most looking forward too. I liked his design and I love shapeshifting as a power. Unfortunately he ended up having not much screen time but I ended up loving practically all the other characters in this film.
I too agree with blackcauldron85, I like many of your ideas and think they could have improved the story. The movie reminded me of how Frozen 2 felt like it was a bunch music videos and then they tried to string everything together with a very rough plot. This had a similar feel. Like it needed a couple more rewrites.
