On November 2nd, who are you going to vote for?

Post by Luke »

We've had plenty of polls lately asking who's going to buy what DVD, and what are you going to buy each Tuesday. But I was curious as to the big Election Day question.

Just vote and leave a comment.

Ooh, ooh, I was thinking of doing this, too. Great thread, Luke!

Are the poll answers messed up? Or is the poll meant to say "Will you be voting on November 2nd?"

But anyways, I'm only sixteen so I can't vote yet. :(

So far it sounds like things are....heating up in here. Heh.

Just thought I'd throw my hat in the ring and say that if I could vote, I'd vote for George W. Bush.

I'll be voting, that's for sure, but I'm still trying to decide on who I'll cast my ballot for.

For me it's not even about Republican vs. Democrat, Bush simply makes me sick to my stomach.

He's helped show me just how easy it could be to rile the masses into a less democratic, more disturbing form of gov't. Growing up I admit I never really understood that.

I've always been a Democrat but I admit I could at least give credit where credit was due to Republican politicians. Dubya is not in that category.

He gives a little wink and a little smile and no one bothers to ask important questions. I didn't buy into when we preached about WMD's, I didn't but into when he made a joke about the war as I got news one of my best friends was blown away and I won't buy into it for a second term as we play rivisionist history with a former crack addict.

Voting Republican is one thing, but to vote for Bush...I'm sorry you gotta be living in a christian fundamentalist cowboyish good ol' boy if we can't buy it we'll blow it up fantasy world.

What's really scary for me is not even the arguments Bush supporters present, so much as the blind, almost 5 year oldish, stick their fingers in their ears loyalty that goes with it. The minute you make a point, the walls go up like I've never seen before. It's just downright scary.

Well, no.

Not being in the US.

But if anybody votes for Bush you need your brain taken away from you and given protective custody.

I'll be voting in our own national elections (which are compulsory) on October 9.

THIS is why it's no longer a Republican vs. Democrat thing:

http://cnn.aimtoday.cnn.com/news/story. ... 0910WHT42D

Because this is getting out of hand at this point. Is it everyone in the world, the Democrats and now members of the Republican party who are wrong or is it the one man who has dodged accountability on the grandest scale ever seen in world politics George W. Bush.

Either way the Republicans are caught in a catch-22. Either they admit they're candidate is an idiot and take flack or they say nothing and continue to watch the runaway train that is this administration.
