You know, you're really making me hate Disney.
Your obsession with looks and disregarding every single other thing in existence is toxic, to others and to you.

I find it interesting that Disney has produced three trilogies of fairytale adaptations and three trilogies of myth/legend adaptations.

Was The Emperor's New Groove really a myth adaptation? I can see why Kingdom of the Sun was (at least to a certain degree), but I can`t say the same about Groove. And despite how Moana was originally based on the myth of Maui, the movie was still centered around her first and foremost. The same could be said about Brother Bear and Raya and the Last Dragon. Who had mythical elements incorporated in them, but were first and foremost original stories. I hope you don`t take my remark the wrong way.

Oh, I get it. I personally prefer adaptations of singular, distinct myths instead of a hodgepodge of various mythical elements. But I believe Disney has moved away from adapting specific fairy tales and myths, and this is as good as it's going to get.

Me too, although I personally don`t mind that Disney create their own stories where they incorporates elements from myths. Despite how it goes against Disney`s previous staple of adapting well-known stories (as they usually were synonymous with). Since Moana was originally going to be only about Maui, one must wonder if Disney were considering it to be a musical. Alongside with Gigantic, it would`ve been a rare Revival Musical with a male lead.
