Found the Audio Commentary at the BBFC here for the UK release.
So we appear to be still missing the "Making of the Morning Report" feature (which I still suspect my be dropped from the first UK Disc to make way for DTS, if indeed it is to be placed on the first disc), the menus and the games.

Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

no because most of the other series sucked. this one was fairly entertaining, plus it was the only one which actually featured short cartoons as opposed to 30 min cartoon segments so instead of sitting thorugh an actual adventure story like aladdin, they can include a few shorts like the one where timon is in paris and the chef is chasing him around the roof of a sky scraper with a butcher knife, etc.Prince Adam wrote:If they do that, though, then they have to do the same with Little Mermaid, Aladdin, 101 Dalmatians, Jungle Book, and they should've done it with Beauty and the Beast.

STASHONE, if people are so against a dull but harmless sequel like "The Jungle Book 2", how are they going to react to seeing Baloo flying a plane and Shere Kahn as a businessman in a suit?
That's just bound to bring up bad feelings!

Not necessarily, considering it's in a completely different context. It is not a Jungle Book sequel nor is it really related in any ways, it is just a newer medium for these classic Disney characters to be exposed to the public through a televised series of all new adventures. I would disagree that most people would be against this since many people are prone to accept cartoons that are no longer in running and it would probably bring back good memories for many people who used to watch the series every afternoon after school etc. I'd rather see all the Disney afternoon series released on their own, beginning with The Wuzzles, Gummi Bears, Duck Tales, etc but since that seems unlikely right now, this could be a safe means of putting episodes out as bonus features through the Platinum Collection.

My personal favourites were DuckTales, Goof Troop, Winnie the Pooh, Sing me a Story, Little Mermaid, and Aladdin.
Of the newer shows, I like Pepper Ann, Kim Possible, Recess, and, of course, House of Mouse.
But as for inclusion on the DVD's, I think that each Platinum Edition (or SE, or CE, or even Standard Edition) should include some sort of segment on TV's shows and movies that the original inspired. As much as we're trying to forget that there was a Cinderella 2 and Jungle Book 2, there should be some mention of these sequels on the original DVD's. The Jungle Book Platinum could have a special "documentary" type-thing that explains how Talespin came about, then Jungle Cubs, the stage show at Disney World, and then, finally, the sequel. All that is part of the movie's legacy.

Amazon.co.uk's site lists more features than their US counterpart.
There's nothing really new; most of the features are mentioned on Ultimate Disney.com and the BBFC site.

Hi everyone.
I've been going everywhere trying to get this question answered for weeks without success...
Does anyone in here know for sure whether or not the Collector's Edition box set will be released in the UK? (Region 2 encoded)
I've seen that the 2 disk DVD set will be released, but not the box set as of yet. I really would like to get the box set, but I haven't found anywhere in the UK that's selling it yet.
Anyone have any idea?
Thanks

To the best of my knowledge, that box isn't being released outside the US.Shoka wrote: Does anyone in here know for sure whether or not the Collector's Edition box set will be released in the UK? (Region 2 encoded)

Everywhere else THAT I KNOW OF is getting the standard 2-dsc set, or some variation thereof.
At least that is the case with Australia, the UK and most places I've heard about.
Any of our other posters care to correct me? I'd like to think I'm wrong...
