The results were analyzed to determine which franchises are most likely to withstand the test of time and continue to evolve and reinvent themselves to remain relevant to their global fans.

Another point: I doubt anything made these days will be as known or remembered as films from the past thanks to the streaming wars where content is locked away across 5 to 10 different platforms.
