Thanks for sharing this information! Some things left me with more questions than answers though.blackcauldron85 wrote:My Soul book came in the mail!!! Major spoilers ahead!!!

This finally explains Moonwind and how he can be present in both realms.

This part confused me. What happened to Joe's body when Terry took him back to the Soul realm? Real people with a physical form can't exist there, right? What exactly is an Earth Pass and how does it work? Do you get reborn when you use it, do you get revived, do you possess another person?
This part is also hard to make sense of. Since Joe returned to the Great Beyond, does that mean he died again? How can he return there otherwise? Does he being given an Earth Portal means he was revived in his old body or reincarnated?blackcauldron85 wrote:They both leapt in the portal, and Joe returned to the Great Beyond. Joe was an inspiration to the counselors, and they gave him an Earth Portal. "Joe took one more fateful step, unsure of what lay ahead, but prepared to appreciate each and every moment of his wonderful life."
Could it be that in the movie it's only a short instrumental piece of it and the full thing is reserved for the end credits? It just seems so weird for Disney and Batiste to be referring to it as a song if it doesn't have any lyrics.D82 wrote:Also, I don't know if they've seen the entire film or just the first 30 minutes, but the people from Pixar Post say that what we've heard from Jon Batiste's song "Born to Play" is the full song, or at least the part that Joe plays in the movie. They also say it doesn't have any words. We'll see. I think it's possible there'll be an extended version on the soundtrack that may contain some lyrics.
