There are, of course, the Flip The Frog Cartoons Time Forgot DVDs, plus I just found out about this VHS:jabroni76 wrote:Well, I would love to see a video of them on DVD and one on Ub Iwerks...
Those two would ROCK! TOTALLY!

It's VHS but might interest you.

Who knows, a cartoon may be on which features Pete!

I think most are lost. They are not owned by Disney but Public Domain (but I understand Disney does hold some negatives of the surviving cartoons - but I may be wrong on this).Prince Phillip wrote:Wow, I thought those were lost, or not owned by disney or something...
Any chance there will be a Treasures Set of the Alice Comedies?
I would love to see a Treasures set called "Before Mickey" or something - a few Alice Comedies (especially one including Pete!), and the VHS documentaries on Ub Iwerks and Walt himself. Perhaps Disney could licence an Oswald or two from Universal? Who are desperate to sell the family silver at the moment!

According to Teemings "Alice on the Farm" included on the VHS includes Pete!
Sadly I don't have a VHS anymore, and when I did, it wouldn't play NTSC tapes. Plus, I don't want to have to pay EBAY prices for the tape in the first place.
Sorry I mentioned it now

See Frank and Ollie Here!
Just in case anyone is interested, Frank and Ollie are now the only two survivors of the orginal Nine Old Men and still live next to each other in La Canada, California. Their bodies have given way somewhat, however, they are still sharp as tacks!!
They love to hear from fans and have a lot of interesting stuff on their website at www.frankanollie.com. Please check out their site.

I just spoke to the webmaster over at frankanollie.com and he stated that the DVD is coming before the end of year (courtesy of Disney) with extra features! I guess we can all retire our VHS copies soon!
