From Disney Animation on Twitter.
Check out the poster for Raya and the Last Dragon, and tune in to @GMA tomorrow to watch the brand-new trailer. #DisneyRaya

That poster good me really excited for the movie. Hopefully, this gets to be the first movie I see when cinemas reopen (and it's safe, that is)

I love the poster! I can't wait to watch the trailer tomorrow. :D I was fearing maybe they wouldn't promote the film much for the moment in case they have to delay it once again given that the situation with theaters doesn't seem to improve, but I'm glad I was mistaken. Regarding Raya's appearance in that poster, though we can't see her whole face, she doesn't seem to look too different from what she looked like in the leaked artwork, so maybe her design hasn't changed so much after all.

After a 4yr wait, an Original WDAS feature! Teaser poster reminds me of Tangled's teaser poster a decade ago 8)

Finally! After all the wait, we`ve finally have a new poster and a date for the upcoming trailer! :pink:

I like the poster. I like the western atmosphere that was hinted with the leaked concept art. And Raya looks cute ;). Can`t wait for the trailer tomorrow!

I like the atmosphere the rain helps to create. And the details, like the drops that fall from her hat in the regular poster, are amazing.

^Thanks for posting! At least apparently, the general story doesn't seem to have changed much. Although, there's no mention of the band of misfits, so maybe they won't be part of the story or their role has been reduced.

I really love that GIF poster. Cinemas (at least over here) have started using TVs instead of actual posters for quite a while, would be nice if they used the animated version.

Comparison between the concept art for the poster and the final version. Her pose in the concept art with her hair flowing in the wind and a serious expression made her look cooler, in my opinion. She was posed by Jennifer Hager in the final version of the poster who is the supervising animator of Raya.

I was able to extract the thumbnail from the motion poster.

I'm still worried about that. While it's hard to tell if there were any changes made to the shape of her head because it's obscured by the hat and the shape of her lips because of the smirk she's doing, her nose has definitely been altered. It's now wider and rounder than before.

It's coooooming... :-) So excited!
I'm curious to see how much they are willing to reveal with these first teaser/trailer.
Hopefully more than less! :)

That's a very unfortunate change in my opinion too. I liked the original version they showed us at D23 Expo better.

I... strongly disliked this. Damn it I was excited. I really hope the actual film doesn't follow this teaser trailer because I was hoping for some kind of epic adventure and instead I got this hip new film that will age badly and might as well have been done by Dreamworks.
