I like the composition, but I certainly do not like the colors. They should be natural and warm colors, not purple and pink! The Australian logo is way better, and with a little more improvement my pick would be the Australian cover:

Yes, but thats the existing UK cover. The fade out on the Australian one looks strange. Ironically, I think the existing Australian cover is the new UK one!

If i had to pick from the UK and other cover....... I would pick the other cover since it looks better.

1) because it looks like a disney cover art
2) the UK cover looks like a computer software cover art

I think we had the cover art back in 95 on a computer software box that's why when I look at it, it reminds me of it.

Yeah, that's just a rehash of the old VHS cover, but despite that, I hope Disney uses that as a basis for a new cover. The composition of it fits the new covers perfectly in terms of style. The only change I'd make is to shrink Meeko. Sure, he's in the foreground and should be a bit bigger than the others, but John Smith seems to be the same distance from us and Meeko dwarfs him. Otherwise, it's a great cover and I hope Disney doesn't screw up on the new R1 one.

I really, really pray that neither of these are the covers used for the R1 special edition. Sorry, guys, but both of them look a little childish. The UK one looks like a coloring book and the other one just looks...like Meeko was crossed with something from Jurassic Park! I've gotta say that I do prefer the Gold Collection cover...the simplicity is nice, and it possesses an overall sophistication that these other covers seem to lack. If the teaser advertisement inserts in Alice and Wonderland and Sleeping Beauty are anything to go by, however, the new cover should be good looking. I like the incorperation of the leaves into the Pocahontas title...
