Then again, this is the same news site that absolutely positively insisted "New Mutants" would go straight to Disney+, even denying Deadline's report that Disney was committed to a theatrical release. And yet the movie still appears set to open in theatres in two weeks.
"There are two wolves and they are always fighting. One is darkness and despair. The other is light and hope. Which wolf wins? Whichever one you feed." - Casey Newton, Tomorrowland

^This isn't a report by The DisInsider. It's a scoop by Murphy's Multiverse. The DisInsider was simply regurgitating the information.

In any case, I believe it. Disney wouldn't spend the time and money to setup a PVOD system within Disney+ for a one-off. They would offer it through their partners such as iTunes, Amazon, Vudu etc. like the other studios are doing with PVOD releases. They are clearly eager to release more product this way, but are waiting to see if Mulan is successful first before announcing additional titles.

Anybody notice they edited one of Mim's lines in Sword in the Stone?
Man has a dream
And that's the start
He follows his dream
With mind and heart
And when it becomes a reality
It's a dream come true
For you and me!

The subtitles on Disney Plus is of very bad quality for Swedish. It is broken Swedish and appears to be machine translated. Almost like if they used Google Translate.

Are they using the UK cut? In the UK and most of Europe, Some of Madame Mim's lines in Sword in the stone has been censored on DVD and Blu-ray since the early 2000s.

"Sounds like someone's sick. How lovely. I do hope it's something serious. Something dreadful."

Is it the same in the US D+?

Wait, are you saying that was censored in the US as well?

I figured as much, just like they used the same version of Lilo & Stitch with the Pizza.
I wonder what version of Zootopia and Moana they use in Europe.

What a shame about the The Sword in the Stone censor. I mean, how dumb is that? Disney gets that most of their villains wish death and/or ill will on the heroes, right…? Are they going to change Maleficent’s last line to “All the powers of heck?” or “darkness?” or something else?

It’s more disappointing because I was holding out on the slim hope TSitS might get one more Blu-ray release down the line with a restoration that wasn’t just everything being smudged… Now, even in the miraculous event that that happens, I guess the film will be censored. So no possibility of a perfect version now.

If the version used is from the UK, does that mean that the audio is slightly off (i.e., in the PAL format)? I hope not.

UPDATE: Never mind. It's not in the PAL format.

Might be because of Covid19. Were they there before?

^ I haven't thought about it but it sounds like something Disney would do.
I might be able to check tomorrow unless someone here answers this sooner.

I hope that’s all it is, and that once the pandemic gets down to reasonable levels, they'll change it back to normal.
