I think the white-haired character is SiSu in human form.

If any BH6 Easter Eggs are in this film I won't be surprised.
He also did a lot of concept art for Glen Keane's Rapunzel so I've always been fond of him and his work.

I don't think that Raya will resemble past Revival Princesses, but we'll have to wait til the final CGI designs are leaked/revealed.
Let's hope so because I'm not eager for a GoGo identical twin.

He was also the principal character designer on Into the Spider-Verse. I think he's an excellent character designer, too.

I'm pretty sure of that, also. Those early synopses said Sisu appears first as an old woman, I thought?

That's good to know (and another thing to anticipate this film for). Forgive me, does it mean he designed the majority of characters in BH6 or did he simply have final say on their looks while others worked on them? While I wasn't fond of that film, I did like some of the designs (Tadashi, Baymax, Callaghan's masked costume, the executive, Honey Lemon, the guy with the Dragon costume). Even Hiro's design looked cute in the comic-esque drawings over the End Credits, even if the 3D version didn't work for me.

Hard to tell much from that... I can only vaguely see several things. That one face on the right side must be a close-up on the large character posted earlier in this thread's face. And Raya's horse has a drawing on the top. At first I thought the picture on the top left was for that TV series that's supposed to have Captain Marvel, Groot, and Spider-Ham because it made me think of Spider-Ham.

cool! thanks for the link! there's something in the sketches that looks Ike a fox, and a horse like creature I'm hoping is a kirin/gilen.
He was also the principal character designer on Into the Spider-Verse. I think he's an excellent character designer, too.
I LOVE the character designs for Into the Spiderverse! Especially the female characters, its nice to have female characters that don't all look like big eyed bobble headed dolls!

Is this the same Kim that did the black and white Frozen and Moana sketches for Disney?

That's the Nokk and the picture in the center is Bruni.

No, that's Jin Kim. They're both from South Korea.

I am so sick of the quirky and clumsy but adorkable template Disney has used for all their major heroines the past few years. Rapunzel, Anna, even Moana to an extent.

Finally! After all the waiting, at last we have something!

She looks a little too uncanny and a little too po-faced, to be honest. But she certainly resembles Moana and Pocahontas a lot. Otherwise, not a bad still. Can´t wait for the rest.

Though the image hasn't been released by Disney (it seems its source is this Instagram post by a Panamanian company that sells wholesale products), I guess it could be legit. I personally really like the design, and especially the outfit. Maybe someone who was at the last D23 Expo could confirm is this is official or not.

I know it’s a first look image but my initial impression is THIS is the look Disney needs to continue in their future movies. No more of the ridiculous large eyes and huge heads with thin torsos. This is a lovely design and I’m thrilled to finally see something a little more classically proportioned in CG.
