So did anyone watch the new CGI series "Father of the Pride"?
The pilot aired some days ago in the us.
I think it is Dreamworks that has made it, but I`m not sure..
But I actually thought it was really funny, many good jokes!
So did anyone else see it?

I enjoyed the animation and the story, but did not really enjoy some of the content of the show so I do not think it will be something that I will watch. But the animation was pretty cool.

I thought it was fairly good. Interesting. Not great, though, but I plan on watching again, so ... I felt the funniest parts were the ones with Sig and Roy.

The ads didn't really appeal to me but I may give it a chance at some point. Glad you all seem to be loving it though!

i saw the show and I think this show will be my favorite show to watch this year along with The Simpsons and Malcom in the Middle. I cant wait to see the episode with Eddie Murphy guess starring as Donkey from the Shrek movies

Well, I did tape the first episode but I haven't have time to see it yet.
But I will enjoy it because it's from the creators of Shrek (DreamWorks)....

Um... it was good, a little too crude at some points, but if we have power when we get home tomorrow, me and my mom will watch.

I have play rehearsals everynight from 7-10, so I missed it last week, but I am setting my VCR tonight. I hope it's good.

Aww, I missed Donkey. Eddie Murphy is a great comedian. I hope he shows up in a future episode.

I just found out that the episode with Donkey will appear on September 21. so mark your calendars. I dont know why some people dont like this show. i measure the kind of comedy in this show somewhere between Family Guy and The Simpsons. the bad words are not necessary. the jokes about the animals are good enough.

It was ok.....some content wasn't really.....great, but it was ok. I sorta like it. John Goodman is in it, so it's good. He's one of my fav actors/voiceactors. ^ ^ But I'd just give it a 5/10. Half and half.

So they're playing the Shrek card already? And then people moan about Einsner and Disney pimping it's characters?
Sounds to me like they're desperate already

I watched both episodes, and just gets worse.
Bad show, IMO.
And to think.... they dropped
Frasier for this.

Father of the Pride doesn't appeal to me. It seems kind of boring with crude jokes added in. I don't think it will last more than one season.

Watching the ads during the Olympics made me not want to see the show. They just seemed too crude and not very funny. Maybe I'll check it out once . . . seems I'm getting mixed reviews from the people I trust most right here on this site!

Thanks for reminding me about the show MickeyMousePal. I'll watch it if the electricity in my house doesn't go out.
It sounds like a lot of people enjoy watching Father of the Pride.
