What did you think of: The Three Musketeers?
Yes, Yes, Yes! I've seen it and I'm deliriously happy!
This performance from Pete finally puts his Goof Troop years to rest. Once again Pete is the character he was originally conceived as. Not a simply hen-pecked suburban citizen, but a scheming, bullying BADDIE! And his Peg-leg is back!
Pete rocks my world in this movie!
Oh Pete, how I have missed you! - apart from a strong showing in Mickey's Christmas Carol and Mickey's segment of Once Upon A Christmas (which was sadly tainted by his Goofy segment appearance)
Oh, and all of you who are hating the turtle – it's only THE Rob (Experiment #625, Yakko Warner, Pinky, P.J. Pete and many many more) Paulsen! Show some respect for one of the best voice artists today! Check out his IMDB Listing (narf!)

I loved it!
First, the bad, to get it out of the way:
-Donald could have lost his temper once or twice, as Jack pointed out. However, it worked well as it was... I didn't even notice the absence of his temper until I read it in Jack's post
-Daisy and Clara's character changes... it didn't take away from the movie too much, but it was a bit of a stretch for me (Goofy just needed someone to fall in love with
)
-I liked the music to the existing tunes, it was very funny, but another really strong, broadway-esque musical number would have added a lot
-Fast Play / Easy Find- I hate them both
And now, the good:
-The pace was exciting and involving
-The jokes were hilarious and used the perfect amount of irreverence (not as thick as Shrek's, which worked well for that movie, but wouldn't work well for this)
-The characters were great- Pete was such a good villain! (and the turtle rocks!)
-Mickey was so contemporary... he really achieved that "I'm your pal" characteristic of his for the current generation, without really losing any of his character
I'll definitely be buying this. I wish they would have ended it by panning out from the comic book and letting the turtle finish up the show with maybe one last gag.
