ANR + Halle & Chloe, Idina & Platt, Miguel & Christina, and JHUD were my favorite parts for sure. Miguel is really handsome. JHUD sounded great because she reigned it in. And then Idol’s Disney night had one of the male contestants perform "Almost There" also! I was glad to see Tiana’s song get some love. <3

Did someone perform "Your Mother and Mine" and I just missed it?

Yes, Sabrina Carpenter performed that song dressed up as Wendy and she also had a Wendy plush in the background. (with Lang Lang on the piano)

The full program is already on Disney+

Darn, I knew it. I had to go out of the room a couple of times to take a pet outside and my sister was on her way up (her birthday is right around Mother's Day).

Oh, and I forgot to say that the previous Idol winner (Laine Hardy) performed “Life Is a Highway” from Cars during the Idol Disney show right after as well. I like Rascal Flatts, and yet I’ve always found that song so annoying. I actually liked his version better than their original.

I'm not surprised. This stuff seldom does as well the second time around as it does at first.

Plus, I think it was an hour earlier than last time because of Idol, right? Oh, well. I still would like if they put out an album corresponding with this, even if it's just a compilation of the live performances. I would buy for sure. :)

A new holiday-themed singalong is coming. The Disney Holiday Singalong is set to air on November 30th.
ABC is getting into the yuletide spirit, announcing its slate of holiday programming that includes the return of The Disney Family Singalong franchise, with new special The Disney Holiday Singalong. It’s set to air Monday, November 30 at 8 PM.

The singalong franchise has been a strong ratings driver for the network. Earlier this year, The Disney Family Singalong and The Disney Family Singalong: Volume II drew in a combined 22.3 million Total Viewers after 35 days of delayed viewing on linear and digital platforms.

The Disney Holiday Singalong performances include the following:

Andrea Bocelli — “Silent Night”

BTS — “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”

Michael Bublé — “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas”

Ciara — “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”

Chloe x Halle — “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”

Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert — “Hey Santa” and “Jingle Bells”

Julianne Hough — “Whistle While You Work” and “Let It Snow”

Adam Lambert — “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”

Leslie Odom Jr. — “What’s This?”

Katy Perry — “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and “Cozy Little Christmas”

P!NK — “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)”

Kerry Washington — “Joy to the World”

For the first time since Broadway’s shutdown, Disney Theatrical Production’s Broadway casts of The Lion King and Aladdin, and North American touring companies of Frozen return to the New Amsterdam Theatre to sing a special performance of “Let It Go.” Led by Caroline Bowman and Aisha Jackson, the number also features Tracee Beazer, Austin Colby, Lindiwe Dlamini, Olivia Donaldson, Bongi Duma, Nicholas Edwards, April Holloway, Ben Jeffrey, Nina LaFarga, Telly Leung, Isabelle McCalla, Paul HeeSang Miller, Kyle Mitchel, Nteliseng Nkhela, Amber Owens, Adam Perry, John Riddle, Ann Sanders, Dennis Stowe, L. Steven Taylor, and Nicholas Ward.

Disney Music Group’s acclaimed seven-member a cappella group DCappella also joins in for some seasonal sounds; they’ll carol throughout the show and encourage viewers at home to sing along.

The Queen show last night was fun. The only true stinker was the girl who opened the show, no idea who she was. Alexander Jean and Adam Lambert were the highlights for me, but I enjoyed Alessia Cara's performance. Darren Criss was a great host even though I don't think he could pull off the song he performed at the end.
