Mickey Mouse in Living Color

Post by DVDisney »

Does anybody know where I'd be able to easily find Mickey Mouse in Living Color for under $70?? New or Used, as long as everythings included!
After many short films, she's finally getting her own....

Here are a few eBay auctions under $70:

Oh wait ... there are none :(

This thing is flying thru the roof now. The only auctions I saw under $70 still have almost 2 days left so they'll be over $70 by then. Might try Half.com or check out your local pawn shops...ya never know.

Keep looking! I saw a few out there:
This auction is at $51 at the moment:

Two rumours though:
If you have a multi region player, they are rumoured to be coming out overseas towards the end of the year.

There was another rumour floating about that they would be released sans tins as well.

Hopefully both are true.

Yeah I did see that auction, but with over a day left I figured it would be well over $70 by the end. Great tip about the re-release rumors though, I had forgotten about that one.

I'm planning on unloading mine - it's opened but mint. But maybe I'll just go the eBay route.

DVDisney, I've sent you an e-mail.

To answer your question, Gus, it just doesn't really float my boat or hold much for me in repeat appeal. I'd rather have the money than the tin.

There's something to be said for a small, personal DVD collection, and while I won't pretend that I can ever again obtain that, I am trying to unload some of the stuff that I don't see myself watching soon so that the DVDs I DO own are worthwhile and I have money to pay for life's other necessities.

(/long-winded reply to a simple question)

No!!! You need to play it cool!

Allow me to represent you...kind of be an intermediary, if you will.

Uhem...Luke. I have a client that might be interested in your MMILC Tin.
Can you indicate the overall condition of the tin as well as a price your comfortable with. You should know that my client is a HS Student that has been informed he cannot work until he gets his GPA back up from a 3.95 to a 4.0, so $$ is a bit tight. Perhaps you'd accept Homemade Cookies as a partial payment as well? Or maybe a 6-pack of Shasta? Hmmm??

I'd wait until Christmas time so you can rake up more bucks. if MMILC2 is coming out someone that wants them all will be willing to pay big bucks for the first one....Christmas is the best time. People will pay to not have screaming, disappointed disney fans on Christmas morning.

Yeah, disregard that error in posting and PMs. It's just a big lie, as far as I can tell. The posts/messages go through in spite of it.

I watched mine yesterday, and what it needs is a good restoration, as it was very grainy, and a sound makeover, as the sound is not very good at all. Both sound and picture need to be cleaned and cleared up, but otherwise this is a great set! It seems that if this set is indeed going to be rereleased, these things could be done to it before hand, to rationalize the extra release, of a "once in a life time" set.

^ I'm pretty sure Disney did all they could with the restoration of all the Treasure sets, if there was any room for improvement, they surely would have taken advantage of this the first time around. I think Disney is doing a very commendable job of trying to preserve these classics and it might partly be due to the fact that the present focus on the direction of Disney is so sketchy right now.
