Has Disney done that with their home video releases over the past few years?

They did it with the remake of Beauty and the Beast I think. However it doesn't worth it if someone rips the trailer and then post it on YouTube.

Tangled's teaser trailer from late February 2010 "not the infamous leaked trailer  ". I believe this was on The Princess & the Frog DVD.

Big hero 6's teaser trailer from May 2013. Most people I remember had no idea what this was. This was out over a month before the infamous Olaf Frozen teaser.

I think these were the only Revival era features to have Teaser Trailers.

Well, at least that poster is some kind of news. Though it unfortunately still isn't much, though.

Frozen II's first teaser was released on February 13th, Ralph Breaks the Internet's first teaser was released on February 28th, Coco's first teaser was released on March 15th. So I'm expecting a teaser by the end of March at the latest.

Well, once again. At least it's something. Though unfortunately it's still not much, though.

If am 100% honest i wish disney would retrun to thier 90s style of movies. Big Broadway-style Musical with Extotic setting , REAL VILLINAS !, magical elements, big songs numbers and Celebrity voiced sidekicks !!!

But that might be too much to ask

Sighs. I would like that, too. The 90's was as a great period for a reason.

I guess it won't affect Raya much because it's not aimed at the same audience, but No Time To Die, the new James Bond movie, will now open the same day as the Disney film after being pushed back from April due to fears that the coronavirus could impact its global box office.
No Time to Die will now face off on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving with Warner Bros. Will Smith King Richard, Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon, and Sony’s comedy The Happiest Season.

"It’s a dream come true to get to work on a Southeast Asia-inspired film at Disney Animation. Every day I get to share with my team the culture I grew up with. As a leader on this film, I want to recognize each artist’s strength and create an opportunity for them to be successful on the show while being who they are." - Fawn Veerasunthorn, Head of Story on Raya and the Last Dragon

“Working on Raya and the Last Dragon has been an amazing learning experience that has opened up a window for me into the animation pipeline and challenged myself not just as an artist, but as a filmmaker too. It means everything to be trusted as a production designer to work with the studio’s many talented artists.

Fantasy has always been one of my favorite genres because it’s all about world-building and creating history within the context of the story. I love being able to contribute to a world that has thousands of years and history under its belt as an exciting design challenge.” - Mingjue Helen Chen, Production Designer on Raya and the Last Dragon

"I would encourage an aspiring artist to take a multi-disciplinary approach to their education. No matter which area of the filmmaking process becomes your specialty, all those experiences in other areas will make you a more informed and collaborative asset to the team. And, most importantly, give you a unique set of skills that sets you apart." - Nikki Mull, Character Look Supervisor, Raya and the Last Dragon

"Building on a sense of community and building support for each artist working on the project is very important to me. The same way I’ve been inspired by leaders before me, I hope to be inspiring to the next generation." - Amy Smeed, Head of Animation on Raya and the Last Dragon

"I love being able to help translate our directors' vision into what we hope will be a new Disney classic. It's hard to put into words how awesome it is.

We innovate and develop technology to make moving images as beautiful as our entire team can imagine. It's all about collaboration and the team coming together to create progress." - Kate Kirby-O'Connell, Technical Animation Supervisor on Raya and the Last Dragon
