Same, bc85! I think this is great, he's a huge talent. I know he's expressed how much of a fan of Disney he is in the past, too (even singing a Little Mermaid medley at a concert once). I'd love to have a film sort of like Tarzan, with him producing the soundtrack. Anyway, this sounds similar to the partnership they've developed with Beyonce.

While I like Bruno Mars, I don't like Disney's new trend of getting pop stars to headline films. These movies feel like vanity projects on the stars' side and cash grabs on Disney's side. It's one thing to have an idea or a story already in place and then search for the person most suitable for the position in front and behind the cameras and a whole different one where you create a story (which is usually half-baked) just to accommodate whatever music celebrity you have a deal with.
