Please note that the lack of commas in inappropriate places is intentional, so as not to confuse appositives or other comma usage with film listings. :) Even with the auditions, there are 108 remaining live-action films that survived the auditions. Therefore, we'll be dividing the game into three rounds, each of which will be further divided into sub-rounds. Round 1 will concern movies made prior to 1990 (I had to make the slight change from the site's grouping, which breaks at 1980, to even out the two groupings). Round 2 will concern movies made from 1990 to the present day. The winners of the first two rounds will go head-to-head in Round 3. Got it? Good. :)

Live-action films have already been defined for us by Luke's pages for them here on the site. Films made prior to 1980, all of which are covered in Round 1, can be found here (complete list). The complete list of films made between 1980 and 1990, also covered in Round 1, can be found at the bottom of this list.

It works just like the Survivor TV show. Basically, come on here once every 2 days and vote for the live-action Disney film that you want to vote off, i.e., the one that you like the least. Everyone is welcome!!

At the end of the round, I'll come on here and announce which films got voted off, and a new thread will start for the next round. This gets to be a lot of fun, especially when it gets down to the wire (as you hopefully know from the last two games).

You can talk about your reasons for your vote, but I ask that you put the full title of what you're voting for in bold letters so that it's easy for me to count them all in a hurry.

There are more titles in Round 1 of this game than there were in all of the Animated Classics Survivor. Therefore, for Round 1, we'll follow this plan: Four movies will be cast off in each of the first 5 sub-rounds (the four with the most votes to leave). After that, two films will leave in each sub-round, until we reach the top 10. In all, that should make for 52 sub-rounds in round 1. Make sense? The winner of Round 1 will square off against the winner of Round 2 for the ultimate winner, which will join the reigning champs, The Lion King and Toy Story 2.

So, Survivors ready?? Come on in and vote off ONLY ONE of these remaining films, the final 3 of Round 1:

Pollyanna
Swiss Family Robinson
Freaky Friday (1977)

Voting ends at midnight (EASTERN TIME) on Tuesday, September 7th.

 First Pete's Dragon, then Mary Poppins, and now Bedknobs & Broomsticks. I was really holding out hope for the 3rd one to make up for the first two. These three films really stand several notches above all the others, imo. At least it took a long time to give it the boot, and it was only by one vote. In memorium:

Traguna-Macoytees-Trecorum-Satis-Dee (or however you spell it )

It's time for Swiss Family Robinson go, while I mourn B&B's departure.

Hmm, I have to pick something different now. First time in a while.

Swiss Family or Pollyanna? Swiss Family or Pollyanna? Both movies are very good.

I'll say Swiss Family Robinson for now.

This is the most unappealing Survivor game ever. Toy Story 2 and Lion King were rightful champions, but none of the remaining 3 films here are. Although this is only the first round of Live Action Survivor, and not the battle for the ultimate winner, it's still very disappointing. :(

Anyway, my vote goes to

 POLLYANNA

I was hoping Bedknobs and Broomsticks would win, just to spite that whole ordeal several rounds back where Mary Poppins got voted off.

For now, I'll go with Swiss Family Robinson.

I vote off Swiss Family Robinson, for the cruel treatment to animals.

I disagree completely. I think all three are absolutely wonderful films. But then my opinion has counted more because I have controlled the game from the beginning. I think the first two Survivor games were completely flawed. I keep saying it but the idea of the game is not to vote off movies in order. Luke already accomplished that with his countdowns. The object of this is to get your favorite movie to be first. It is the only position that matters in this game.

You and several others do not have your favorite movies here because you don't understand the game of Survivor. Me - I have missed three episodes in eight seasons. I knew how to get my movies to the end.

But most of the people trying to have Bedknobs and Broomsticks win were the people who got Mary Poppins voted off! :D

Actually, Luke I dont think thats true completely. Yes Leia and the Guru wanted it to win but others like Prince Eric, myself and MickeyMouseBoy wanted other movies to win. There were also those trying to protect Mary Poppins who wanted Bedknobs to win like Aaron and DACP. The strategies have been offly mixed. The alliance that voted Mary Poppins off had at least four movies in mind they wanted to see win. We all felt that Mary Poppins was the one that would stop are movie from winning.

I would have voted Bedknobs off after Freaky Friday but that was only because I had promised some people I would take it to the Final 3.

Right now my #1,3 and 4 movies are left. The only movie I lost along the way was 20,000 Leagues under the Sea.
