Wow, what a lackluster teaser! Sure, Shrek`s purpose was to entirely mock and scrutinize the fairy tale elements, but at least it wasn`t done in such a tasteless way as this! Shrek dancing in the black suit was tacky, as was his body building shot. But what`s remarkable how is how most of the old characters looks off-model. Especially Fiona (who`s supposedly older) looks awful. And his daughter didn`t looked any better. The only redeeming thing about this teaser, was Pinocchio`s joke. But this teaser was meh!

Shrek is hugely nostalgic for me, I’m very interested in another film.

Well, since the trailer has been released, my general thoughts about it was that it was too frenetic, zippy and fast-paced. It gave hardly time for moments to breathe or settle. The opening narration was tacky and tasteless. Donkey looked extremely off-model and even Shrek looked a little different at the beginning. The part with the broomstick looked appealing, as were the scenes in the town. With the clock, the mermaids, the giant`s foot and the sheep.
But the gingerman joke was tacky, as was the snowman joke (a not-so-subtle-reference to a certain movie). Even Shrek and Fiona`s kids didn`t get a line. Overall, a trailer that showed potential, but could`ve been better. And since I was one of the minorities who actually liked Shrek the Third and hated Shrek Forever After (since it was bloody awful in every sense of the word), I truly hope that this movie is going to be superior.
