Which Disney films scared the daylights out of you as a kid?

Post by Wonderlicious »

Okay, the title of this forum topic is the question that I'm asking. For me, it was that yucky bat in Basil The Great Mouse Detective and the cat in that film, too.

Pinocchio.... well, the donkey scene that is  I was severely creeped out but I knew the donkey ears would make way for "a real boy". And then the real boy kind of creeped me out as well. I preferred the puppet :)

I agree with the donkey scene in Pinocchio... Though I still loved the film when I was a child anyway. :D

The bat in The Great Mouse Detective scared me half to death when I was little. Whenever he came on, I looked around to make sure that someone was near.
Another scene that scared me was the Pink Elephants on Parade, yeah, same with you Ciaobelli, now that I watch that scene I think it's brilliant...but when I was younger, I wouldn't watch that scene, I'd just get up and leave!

Probably why it's called "Ernest Scared Stupid", because all your life he's Ernest, when you're little you're Scared, and when you're older it's just stupid.

Man I have afew that really scared the crap out me when I was younger. Sleeping Beauty although it was one of my favorites when I was younger the dragon scene freaked mer out. Most of Pinnichio did as well. And who can forget the Black Cualdron the three horned king freaked me out. Also the Little Mermaid when I was younger the part where Ursla dies well more how she dies really freaked me out. Okay but thats all I can think of for now.Leaving major impacts in my eyes.

I've never had carp inside of me... ;) j/k

I've recently seen Watcher in the Woods and Something Wicked This Way Comes-both great films- and both would have scared the crap out of me as a child.
