That scene was good! I don't know about the poaching plot though...

This is a little part of the dining scene they showed us (potentially entirely..) at the D23 Expo.

(There’s a huge cut in this version, Maleficent’s hand isn’t glowing green at that moment but rather later if I remember correctly)

I liked the clip too. Both Angelina Jolie and Michelle Pfeiffer give a good performance there.

I'm also glad the box office projections are better now. I was suspecting the movie would open higher than the first projections said. I think the fact that the latest Disney offerings have been very successful and liked by the public could maybe help the film, in the sense that people might be more interested in seeing more from the studio. But, as JeanGreyForever said, the early projections are not always accurate, so we'll see.

Here are photos of some posters and costumes on display at Disney's Hollywood Studios: https://wdwnt.com/2019/09/photos-new-ma ... d-studios/

New TV spot. Apparently, this is no fairy tale. :P

Lol I liked the repetition of "This is no fairy tale". Mysterious and hypnotic.

I just want to know if she's actually going to be a villain this time. Doubt it, but I would love them to go there and fully commit to it.

The few first impression I saw on Twitter were definitely positive.

Yes, it seems the first reactions are mostly positive. I'm actually surprised about that. But we'll see, these are just a few reactions, we'll have to wait for the actual reviews to know if critics actually liked it. Anyway, Disney letting people see the film this early is a good sign. It seems they have confidence in the movie.

Everyone's performance in this film is really strong except for Elle Fanning's. She may look the part but acting-wise she leaves a lot to be desired.

I like the first two clips. I hate Maleficent's...kin. But I think Maleficent, Diaval, and Aurora are all acting pretty good, especially Maleficent and Diaval.

I can see this being the much better film both critically and in audience reviews ... but it won't be the box office bonanza like the first ? Therefore deemed a flop by Disney, therefore all trace of the film will disappear, and they will be back to pumping out superhero films like no tomorrow.

It's kind of wild how "busy" the poster is, but still looks great!

Oh wow this poster is absolutely stunning! The promotion for this film has been worlds apart from the first, probably because Disney knows this film will really need the extra help.

The placement of Pfeiffer, Fanning, and Jolie are perfect, but something about how the bottom of Maleficent’s wings can’t be seen ruins it for me.

That poster is perfect. Absolutely breathtaking. I liked the other international poster, too. But this last one...magnifique.
