For anyone who loves the fact that all of these animated classics keep getting rebooted, we have great news for you. Following the massive financial success of Disney’s most recent live-action remakes, the studio is hoping to continue developing plenty more well into the future. In fact, according to our sources – the same ones who told us an Aladdin sequel was happening before it was confirmed a few weeks later – the House of Mouse is currently hoping to revamp the 2003 feature Brother Bear some time soon. Just like with Dumbo, the human characters in the movie will likely be real people, while the animals will be animated. Details on the live-action remake are still scarce right now, as we’re being told that the project is but one of many on a long list of films that Disney hopes to eventually remake over the next several years, but it’s likely that big names will be brought on board to anchor the cast.

The only ones left are The Rescuers, The Emperor's New Groove, the package films, and the CG films.

I'd actually welcome a live-action sequel based on A Twist in Time or Twice Charmed.

I'm sure that would've happened if the first one had performed better, just like Alice would probably be getting a third film if the second one hadn't bombed.
Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"

That hadn't occurred to me. We say it jokingly, but now that you've mention it, I can actually see them announcing remakes to some of the DTV sequels too.

They've announced remakes to Brother Bear and Home on the Range, but not to The Rescuers and The Emperor's New Groove? Those two look much more likely to happen than many of the ones they've claimed are in development.
