For Scores: The Podcast
Re: For Scores: The Podcast
That sounds quite interesting. And we'll have to pay attention to the episode with Harry Gregson-Williams; according to the article, he'll give a sneak peek at the music for the Mulan remake.

Re: For Scores: The Podcast
The first four episodes have already been released:
Alan Silvestri: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGn7-GxKQqo
Pinar Toprak: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GA0MbOnJ0hg
Harry Gregson-Williams: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZALeV-MpAA
Henry Jackman (Part 1): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJzxOI7Pi7k
Could this be the sneak peek at the Mulan soundtrack? I only had the episode in the background while I was doing other things because for now I just wanted to find the Mulan preview, so I'm not sure, but I think the movie is not mentioned again in the interview.

Re: For Scores: The Podcast
Not much new in that podcast but still a delight to listen to Menken talk.
I hope Part 2 gives us some more insight into his non-Ashman work for Disney, which I feel doesn’t get the attention it deserves. We know so little about what was going on behind the scenes at Tangled or Enchanted. Or even Hercules.
But I guess since it’s a Disney branded podcast we’re probably not going to hear Alan’s real thoughts on how he was treated by Lasseter.

Remember that Menken is currently working with John Lasseter on a Skydance Animation project. So I imagine if he does talk about Lasseter, it won't be negatively.PatrickvD wrote:But I guess since it’s a Disney branded podcast we’re probably not going to hear Alan’s real thoughts on how he was treated by Lasseter.

Re: For Scores: The Podcast
I forgot about that. It’s weird, because I always assumed it was thanks to Lasseter that Menken was doing less projects at Disney at a certain point.estefan wrote:Remember that Menken is currently working with John Lasseter on a Skydance Animation project.
