I'm glad it's finally getting a Blu-Ray release. Has the original also been released on Blu-Ray?
We’re a dyad in the Force. Two that are one. "I offered you my hand once. You wanted to take it." - Kylo Ren "I did want to take your hand. Ben's hand." - Rey

Nothing official yet but there is a page up on blu-ray.com showing the artwork (link below). I wouldn't be surprised though if we hear something in the next few weeks. They released the Freaky Friday movies at the same time so I see no reason why they wouldn't do the same with The Parent Trap.

Glad that the original Parent Trap has finally gotten a release now as well. If only 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea could finally get one. Also The Story of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men but that barely got a proper DVD so I wouldn't expect anything more.

Weird that the artwork they use is from the 2011 Winnie the Pooh and not Pooh's Grand Adventure, unless that's just a stand-in.
"There are two wolves and they are always fighting. One is darkness and despair. The other is light and hope. Which wolf wins? Whichever one you feed." - Casey Newton, Tomorrowland
I’m happy that « 20 000 Leagues Under the Seas » finally gets its own Blu-ray release, and not just an iTunes HD release. This one was missing from any Disney fan’s collection.
It's about time 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea got a Blu-Ray release, but it's a shame that such a blockbuster film is relegated to a barebones release through the DMC. There's certainly an audience for this film considering its classic status, even if its not the typical Disney kiddie audience.

Wow, I'm glad this movie is finally getting a release. I know it has quite a cult following even if it is often dismissed as a Star Wars knockoff. If we can get The Black Hole on Blu-Ray, then there really is no reason why Disney should make us wait longer for The Black Cauldron on Blu-Ray.

The Black Cauldron will eventually be released, that’s for sure.
But what is really sad about this one is that we’ll probably never get to see the 12 minutes that have been cut at the very last minute.. Disney doesn’t want you to see that.

I don't think it's ever been confirmed that Disney still has all the deleted stuff... I'd like to think they do, but I don't know if we know if they do...

Theo Gluck at Disney Library Restoration and Preservation confirmed to me that the 12 minutes don't exist anymore.
