I agree! As for it being boring, well, I do not know how to explain why the film bores me. It's kind of like how I feel the second half of Bambi is a little boring even though there's a forest on fire and the film is still a masterpiece. I don't know why it's boring to me. But I don't find it fact paced. I especially don't think Tod's time with Trixie is that great. I feel that there are many emotional or character building or relationship building moments and I guess I don't feel they are fast paced. Not a criticism. Just seems slow to me. Just the right pace.

Lady and the Tramp...maybe it bores me 'cause it's just about dogs? They don't have a mysterious prince of the forest or growing up like Bambi, they are developing a romance and that is cool but I guess I just don't care about dog romance lol. I also don't like the dogs in the pound song. And I guess I don't find the rat much of a villain lol.

Congratulations on finishing all the Disney and Pixar movies!!! This was a great idea to do!!! I really liked reading all your thoughts on all the movies. But wait...did we miss the Disney sequels?!

Come on, we all know the reason why somebody on this site wouldn't like FatH or LatT is because these films don't star princesses in huge-ass ballgowns. Because that's all there is to a Disney movie. :P Like the people who said Ralph 1 was bad because it didn't have princesses. :P

That's ridiculous. I like a lot of films who don't feature a princess, like all of Walt's films, 9 of them don't have a princess, Lion King, Hunchback, TENG, Lilo and Stitch, Zootopia and probably more.
No I don't like TFatH - while I did like it as a kid, I find the film to be boring and unmemorable except the bear sequence and the theme of friendship torn apart.
No, I don't like Wreck-it Ralph and it has nothing to do with not having a princess. I thought the screenplay was contrived, the ties between act 1 and acts 2 and 3 to be really flimsy, and the main character himself extraneous to the plot as a whole, which was not really about him. Mostly I just couldn't stand Ralph as a character. I didn't like the second one as well and that one did feature the princesses.

Also, Do you really suggest that people love films like Sleeping Beauty or Beauty and the Beast just because they have a princess in them? Right...

You'll probably say the same thing about someone who doesn't like Chicken Little...

Didn't you notice the :P icon?

And yes, believe it or not, there are a lot of morons out there who only like the Disney films that star a princess. Some of them even trashed the genuinely good non-princess films like Zootopia, Coco, Lilo and Stitch, Hunchback, with really weird excuses. "I'm not Mexican, so It feels pandering and unappealing to me" "It's overrated" "Lilo is a bratty turd and she doesn't love her sister as much as Elsa and Anna love each other" "Esmeralda is a lame strong female character and the film villainizes Christianity" Even Mulan got the wrath of this person because apparently Mulan offends the girlier princesses or something.

Also, the person who I was referring to with the thing about Ralph, was actually that dumbass voice actor, Nemo Aponte. So, yeah, there are actually a lot of people who think like this.

Even if that's true, it doesn't mean those people are stupid; they just have preference for a princess/royalty theme. I see no harm in that. We all have our preferences when it comes to entertainment. We should respect people's taste in art and not attack each other for it.

So perfectly said, Sotiris.

Khonnor, I know this is late in the game, but your top 3 choices are indeed at the top of the best list for Disney movies! Ursula is an awesome villain and my second favorite. And yes, Sleeping Beauty's art is amazing and the darkness is cool. What did you mean by it being mesmerizing and wondering if it was on purpose? Because I thought every movie tries to mesmerize. And Maleficent is also my favorite villain. Ha, you think your autism making you watch The Little Mermaid for weeks is bad? My autism had me watch Cinderella like every day for probably a year! Lol

Love your top three films! All solid choices. Thanks for inviting us on this ride with you because it was fun to discuss all the Disney films.
Disney Duster wrote: Pocahontas getting aged up probably gets flack because she was a real person while all the other characters aged up were fictional. Also, Snow White was 7 when she was tried to be killed by the queen, but it's possible she reached 14 in her poisoned state by the time the prince found her.
She is actually 12 when she is finally awakened by the prince.
