I hope it's not like that ridiculous 101 Street or whatever it's called. Or the 7D. Something with an animation style that isn't caricatured and featuring the actual adventures of Lady, Tramp, Jock, Trusty, and the children would be interesting though. Jim Dear, Darling, and the baby as supporting characters with occasional visits by Aunt Sarah and Si & Am.

^ I would be shocked if that happened.

Regardless of what type of show it turns out to be, I'm just happy Lady and the Tramp is getting some attention from Disney.

Agreed! Here's hoping it'll turn out good...and preferably 2D

I still think we're getting a series with a feature-length pilot which is par for the course for Disney shows but this is admittedly odd.
Steve Hulett: Disney Television Animation: Lady and the Tramp 3 (small crew on development work).

Q: What do you mean by "Lady and the Tramp 3" is in the works at DTVA? I thought they stopped making cheapquels. Did you mean a TV series?

Steve Hulett: No, the company had a small group working on something titled "Lady and the Tramp 3". Wasn't clear whether it was at DTVA or someplace else. DisneyToon Studios is, as the saying goes, kaput. Beyond what's posted, your guess is as good as mine.

I bet this new series will follow Scamp, like the old Disney comics. Or perhaps we’ll have another Lion Guard situation on our hands with an entirely new offspring introduced.

I wonder if this will be linked closer to the original film or the Disney+ remake?

Can you please post the link to Hulett’s blog? :)

I thought the guy stopped writing after being relieved of duties with the animators’ union. The TAG blog is so boring now.
