A second teaser trailer has been released.

“Descendants 3 will be the biggest in scope of all the previous movies,” director Kenny Ortega teases exclusively to EW. “Everything has been scaled to deliver an epic story. The characters, the sets, the costumes, the dance numbers are all bigger, better and the baddest!” “Returning to the world of Descendants for a third time was like a homecoming,” explains Ortega, who is also an executive producer and choreographed the movie with Sims. “After having gone on this journey twice with so many of the same cast and crew, we became family, partners, able to read each other’s minds. I wish it was real fire for his hair. Once Upon a Time did it so I would think one Disney Channel Original Movie could do it. It's not a bad decision to mke something that merely mimics fire for this franchise but fire for hair is so a part of his character.

Deadline.com is reporting that Descendants 3 will premiere on AUGUST 2ND at 8:00 PM EST.

There is currently no word on if there will be a simulcast on other Disney-owned networks like there was on Descendants 2.
