I'll give you a hint, one is more of a hero, one's a villain and one is a villian's sidekick.
I don't understand two of those complaints as to why they can't get to be in a Disney Prince calender.
Hercules is the son of Zeus, the King of the Gods.
And Hans is a prince even if he is evil.
not complaining, they are 2 of my favorite male characters and Im glad they are in the calendar. I just thought it was weird b/c Hercules hardly ever gets merch(until recently due to them going after millenials) and Hans gets excluded from the Frozen franchise merch due to fear of angering liberals.
I don't see any problem by having a Queen among the Princess squad, as long as she's born a Princess. Elsa was a Princess from the get-go, so therefore I don't see the problem with her being with the Princess bunch. Besides, most of them would count as Queens anyways, since the majority of them got married at the end of their pictures.
What in the world would liberals have to do with Hans being ignored by Disney. Are the evul libruhls also responsible for Gaston being ignored all these years?
Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ "Elizabeth Taylor"
Katy Perry ~ "bandaid"
Meghan Trainor ~ "Still Don't Care"

I'm of the same mentality. If I had to remove anyone from the lineup it would be Mulan because she isn't a princess or Merida because even without the Pixar association, she doesn't really fit. And then since Rapunzel would be the only CGI princess since Elsa, Anna, and Moana aren't official, I'd kick her out too lol. This way all the CGI princesses would have their own franchises separate of the DP line.

That's an interesting idea. The franchise for the 2D princesses could be called "Disney Classical Princess" and for the CG princesses "Disney Modern Princess".

I don't know. I mean people that wouldn't buy anything Frozen related that has Hans on it for their daughter b/c they think he's a toxic male character that shouldn't be anywhere around young girls, and feminist who think Hans merch means Disney condones abusive male characters. Dont most of them tend to be liberal? Same people who complained about merch with the Merida barring her shoulders redesign. I mean not all liberals, obviously, I consider myself more on the liberal than the conservative side but I don't care about things like that. And we know Disney will completely cave and cater to what the liberal/left leaning/feminists will complain about online.
And obviously Gaston doesn't count b/c Disney has no problem selling tons of merch with him and even using him in external media like books. I dont know why they get treated differently, when they are practically the same in their evil doing except one isn't revealed to be the villain until the very end.
The conservatives would be ok with Hans in merchandise if they buy anything else with Disney villains, and feminists would, too, because his behavior is portrayed as evil. And there were Hans dolls.
lol, its been pointed out on Tumblr that the Hans picture in the calendar has a huge typo: HAN instead of HANS. I think the calendar maker had another Disney property on the brain when making it.
As much as I love the Disney guys I dont think Id use a purse shaped as one of their disembodied heads.
This was posted on the official Facebook and Instagram accounts for the Disney Princess brand. It seems Disney might be replacing Hans with Kristoff in the collection.

Maybe they felt they had to include another villain if Hans is being included, and they have to include Hans because Anna and Elsa are bundled together so Kristoff can't go solo?
I think this thread went from Elsa to the Disney Guys. A title change may be in order.
Using the above list, I feel that if the Official Princess®™ has a love interest, he should be included. Which means there are two spots for other guys. As much as Treasure Planet gets ignored by Disney, I think that Jim would be a nice inclusion- he doesn't have a love interest. Technically Kuzco or Kronk would fit- I mean, if they include Hans, then Kronk totally fits (Ralph, too). I think by including Hans/Kristoff, it makes us wonder why Anna's not included in the line-up, right? I love Milo, but then we'd wonder why Kida's not included. Same with Taran/Eilonwy, Tarzan/Jane, Phoebus/Esmeralda. I'd say Peter Pan/Wart/Wilbur Robinson/Lewis/Hiro, but they might be considered too young. And what about John Rolfe if they need an extra guy! #scandalous Bear Kenai > human Kenai, but there's an option (even though Brother Bear gets no love).
*Warm Regards mentioned it as I was typing my response!
Kronk is such an odd choice. He doesn't even have that high of a following to warrant creating merchandise of him. Tarzan, Phoebus, and even Milo would have been better choices, besides of course John Smith. Even if their heroines aren't included, Meg wasn't but they still threw in Herc. If not Phoebus, because of Esmeralda being removed from the lineup, then Quasi could still have worked but I guess this line is meant to promote hunky, young men to millennial women so Disney clearly felt Quasi couldn't accomplish that.

I think they should either stick to the love interests of the Disney Princesses or allow more male characters in. If it were up to me I'd include:
The Prince
Charming
Phillip
Eric
Adam
Aladdin
John Smith
Phoebus
Hercules
Li Shang
Tarzan
Milo Thatch
John Henry
David Kawena
Jim Hawkins
Kenai
Naveen
Eugene Fitzherbert
Kristoff Bjorgman
Tadashi Hamada
Perhaps Kronk is there for the sake of diversity. There are only three POC princes, so having Kronk there ups that number to four. Kuzco would make more sense, but Kronk is more popular.
