I disagree about your statement that there is something wrong with giving the Down Syndrome actress (Jamie Brewer) a creepy role. It's been a while since I saw Murder House so I don't remember how her character was but I don't remember her being too creepy and even if she was, it makes sense considering who she is a child of and who her siblings are. On top of that, people with Down Syndrome rarely ever get major roles on TV and even when they do, it's usually not a very substantial role because their entire storyline revolves around their condition. So I thought it was refreshing to see Jamie Brewer get roles that go beyond having Down Syndrome. All her roles in the show are really unique and fun and it would have been regressive if she (or anyone else with Down Syndrome) was getting the same basic roles over and over that just highlight their condition. Also in this show, pretty much every character is creepy in some shape or form.
Also, I'll say that really only the first two seasons are creepy and actually scary. Coven had some weird racial imagery in the first episode or two but it's very tongue-in-cheek after and low on horror. The seasons after deal with less and less of the scares and focus more on humor so I think you'll appreciate that.
As for the finale of Hotel, it's been a while but from what I remember, the Countess pretty much always had a lover until she discarded him or her for another one. Especially since her "true love" is dead now, so she's going to keep up her pattern of taking lovers, hence the guy at the very end. It isn't about the feeding anymore. I'm not sure what your other question is exactly but are you asking about where the cop character goes after Halloween is over? Since he didn't die in the hotel, he can only come back to the real world in Halloween so when Halloween is over, he goes back to the afterlife.

I actually don't have a problem now with how they used Jamie Brewer, and I agree and thought myself before it was great of them to use her in roles that have little to do with her condition. I just thought at the very beginning of Murder House they used her condition as a creep factor. Like what she was doing and how creepy she came off was being said to come from her condition.
Also, I love creepy and scary. I just at first didn't like the violence. But I really don't mind gore.
You answered both my questions. Yes, the other question was about where the cop went. Thank you!

Oh ok. Like I said, it's been a while since I've seen some of the earlier seasons so I can't actually remember Jamie Brewer's character much in Season 1: Murder House. I really just remember her role in Coven and Freak Show. I don't know how much of Freak Show you've seen so far but if you haven't, I'd say that your assessment that a disability is being used to come off as creepy probably applies most in this season to Jamie Brewer's character. It was a really weird role of hers which I don't remember as having been received well, but luckily her stint that season didn't last too long. I totally understand your reasoning that you were afraid her Down Syndrome was being used to make her seem creepy. Sorry for misunderstanding.
Glad I could answer your questions!

Yeah, I just mean like I felt in the first season people were thinking of her as creepy because of her disability. But I could be wrong. I'd certainly like to be wrong and they just had her be creepy because of what she said, how she says it and always being in a house she didn't live in. I finished Freak Show, and I felt that role was not using her disability, but I can see how they could have been because that doll thing come to life is creepy and maybe that's why they chose someone disabled for the role. I don't know.

Looks like that may be what's happening.JeanGreyForever wrote: I like your idea for one more original season and then a final season that combines them all.
Coven witches will return to American Horror Story after Apocalypse, says Ryan Murphy

AHS signed for 3 more seasons. Apocalypse was the first of the three and Murphy says the witches won't return next year, so it should be the 2020 season, possibly the last season of the show. I'd like for the final season to reprise the Coven characters because I'd like to be able to enjoy the ending. Since neither Fiona nor Gaga's original Witch from Roanoke appeared in Apocalypse, perhaps they'll be back then? I can definitely see Lange agreeing to return in a substantial role again for the final season of this series.

I can understand your reservations though since I had the same ones, just for a different role. I think the doll/puppet role was just weird for me in general especially since she was essentially a hallucination of a crazy guy but I doubt it had anything to do with her disability.Disney Duster wrote:Yeah, I just mean like I felt in the first season people were thinking of her as creepy because of her disability. I know Coven isn't everyone's favorite but I quite enjoyed the witches so I'm glad they'll be back. I don't know if Murphy has ever confirmed it but I'm willing to bet that Coven is his favorite season considering how much he's drawn from it. Like you, I hope that for the final season of AHS, Lange will return especially if its for the Fiona role. Gaga really hasn't had anything to do with the show since Hotel (Roanoke was more like a glorified cameo) so I really hope she'll come back as well with her witch character from Roanoke. I'm certain that Murphy had plans for that to tie it back to the witches in Coven. I hope Bassett will end up having more than a one-episode cameo as well.Disney's Divinity wrote: Looks like that may be what's happening.![]()

Yes, that puppet was a creepy role!
I liked Coven enough to want it back in a next season!

Hey, I just finished Cult, and I was wondering by the end...why did the women and gay guy join Kai's cult if they were for Hillary and he very clearly wasn't? It looked like he was going to do the opposite of what they wanted. Also, I can't remember, but did Kai kill that lesbian who was with that woman who killed Andy Warhol?

Kai's character was supposed to be very charismatic and although his political views were different, he claimed that he wanted to create a world where everyone got what they wanted. He won people over by realizing what they desired most and promising that which is why all the women fell for his words even though most of them would never side with someone like that usually. Towards the middle/end, they realize that he has made false promises to them (especially Beverly Hope) so they turn on him.
For your second question, I think you are referring to Bebe, the character placed by Frances Conroy. She was killed by Ally (Sarah Paulson's character). Ally needed to win Kai's trust so she could infiltrate his group and take it down from the inside hence why she killed Bebe when Bebe had a gun to Kai's head and was about to kill him.
