Thanks for these neat, easy-to-find-info threads, Sotiris. I need to join the DMC so I can buy The Three Caballeros, Saludos Amigos, and Pooh's Grand Adventure.

Why didn't they include the shorts "Smash & Grab" and "Purl"? This was the perfect opportunity to showcase them to the public. It seems Pixar plans to never let the people see any of the shorts from their experimental program.

I'm also disappointed they weren't included. And why the featurettes Marine Life Interviews from Finding Dory and Miss Fritter’s Racing Skoool from Cars 3 were included as bonus shorts, but not Hide and Seek from The Good Dinosaur or Dante's Lunch from Coco?Sotiris wrote:Why didn't they include the shorts "Smash & Grab" and "Purl"?

Obviously they have to wait until AFTER these shorts premiere with any upcoming Pixar film.Sotiris wrote:Why didn't they include the shorts "Smash & Grab" and "Purl"? I can agree though about Hide and Seek and Dante's Lunch (although the latter was more like a teaser than a short). Another shame is that Auntie Edna isn't included either. Well, there's always Volume 4.

^I think that too.
Regarding the "mini-movies" that aren't included, they could always release them in the next volume, but the fact that they're including Miss Fritter’s Racing Skoool and not Hide and Seek which is older, makes me think they've skipped that short and therefore is more difficult that they'll include it in volume 4. Anyway, it's not a great loss, it's just that I like to have a complete collection.

I didn't want to make a whole, new thread to ask this question: For anyone who's bought a Muppets release before, do they come with DisneyMovieRewards codes?

Well, I was reading that Touchstone films often don't have them. Only wondering if The Muppets would be treated the same as other Disney releases or not.Sotiris wrote: Yes, they do. Why wouldn't they?

Which is stupid, given that Disney has branched out DMR points to not just cover Disney and Pixar, but Lucasfilm and Marvel.Disney's Divinity wrote:Well, I was reading that Touchstone films often don't have them.Sotiris wrote: Yes, they do. Why wouldn't they?
Then again, Disney's largely licenced their Touchstone/Hollywood Pictures films to other companies now (first Mill Creek, now Kino Lorber), so they probably enjoy that safe distance away from the name while still collecting from the films financially.
Since all the Muppet films except for The Muppets Take Manhattan, Muppets from Space, and It's a Very, Merry Muppet Christmas Movie are under Disney's control and released through Walt Disney Pictures, their DVDs/Blu-Rays have DMR codes. Honestly, I'd rather Disney acquire those three films (or at least Muppets Take Manhattan) and find a way to get rid of The Muppets' Wizard of Oz.

The first WDAS film on 4K. I guess that means that at least the CGI films will be released on 4K.
