Disneyland Here I come!!!

I am going to get to go to Disneyland for my Honeymoon. For my wedding present my parents bought my fiance and I roundtrip airfare ti California as well as a 6 nights at a hotel right next to Disnyland and two five day Flexpasses. And tickets for one day at Universal Studios. I am so looking forward to this I can't wait to go to Disneyland again it has been a long time since I was there and my fiance has never been so it should be alot of fun! Five full days of Disneyland will be awesome!!!

Congratulations on your wedding and enjoy your vacation. I havent been in 2 years. Thats my longest streak of missing Disneyland in about 15 years. Withdrawal is beginning to set in. Oh well, my first Disneyworld visit and a Disney Cruise is planned for early next year.

It's great that you'll go to Disneyland because right now is the best time to go in my opinion.
I didn't renew my passport due because the price is to high $279.00. Hey remember I'm a college student I need money for my classes and books.

I'm excited for you!!!! I went to disneyland for my honeymoon too

The only thing that I would recomend that wasn't on the list is the Blue Bayou restaurant. It's a bit pricey but really nice atmosphere. It's the most romantic spot in Disneyland. You gotta phone for reservations, and if you let them know that you're on your honeymoon and would like right next to the water, they'll save you a great table.

Have fun!!!!!! Who knows maybe the time after this visit you'll be doing the baby swap at the rides, so enjoy the adult ones!

Papa Bear, if my may make a few suggestions.

In the mad hatter go get a bride and groom mickey and minnie hat. You be suprised how it comes in handy with lines and if you guys wanna take photos.

Secondly, I think the Blue Bayou is really nice for a dinner. My advice ask for a table on the water. When they see the hats you probably won't have much of a wait and the feeling of being right by the water and that start of the ride is really neat.

My wife and i just went there for our honeymoon in June. Obviously it wont be nearly as crowded now but I found Tuesday and Wednesday to be a breeze in terms of crowd size.

Hey Edge, Thanks for the advice I think the Mickey and Minnie Bride and Groom hats sound like a great idea. I will definatley look into that as well as the Blue Bayou.

Congratulations again on your marriage and the Disneyland Honeymoon! My parents went there for their honeymoon and that is where my mom learned she hates rollercoasters, lol!

This seems to be a Disneyland Honeymoon tip board now so here's my advice:
If you are going to CA Adventure definitely do not miss Soarin' Over California! It is a wonderful and new ride experience and a way to experience all of CA without actually traveling the whole state. Also the Electrical Parade now parades at DCA!

I read in Disney magazine that you could request a Honeymoon Photo Shoot. I'm not quite sure of what the cost is, but I'm sure it could be a lot of fun!

Another fun photo op is on Splash Mountain. Of course the usual surprised, petrified face is always fun, it is even more fun when you make the drop photo a little more interesting. Hold a "Just Married" banner as you go down the flume or something like that, . When me and my brother and sister went, we were the See No Evil, Speak No Evil, and Hear No Evil monkeys . There are also a lot of fun photo ops at Toontown!

If you don't have the fortune of dining at the Blue Bayou Restaurant, do the next best thing! Sneak a snack on to the Pirates of the Carribbean ride, lol ! The boats pass by the restaurant (at least I think its this restaurant. I haven't been to DL in 6 years!).

If you like shows, definitely see Fantasmic and the new Snow White musical. I haven't seen the latter, but I hear it is a great production and is different (mostly visually) than the movie. I think there is a restaurant in New Orleans Square and if you're lucky enough, you can view Fantasmic as you eat!

i went to walt disney world for my honeymoon back in december 2002. it was great! we went on a behind-the-scenes 'keys to the kingdom' tour thing, and the tourguide ducked into a shop and brought out those mickey and minnie hats for me and my wife. that was nice. then a few minutes later, this cynical old guy walked by and yelled "ha! good luck!" at us.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who went there on their honeymoon. I remember some people looked at me like I had three heads when I told em we were going there.

Well I just wanted to thank everyone again for all the advice for our trip I took everyones advice and tried to do it all, and we did pretty good at that. We did get the bride and groom Mickey and Minnie ears and that was alot of fun. We really did get alot of fun comments on them we even had one guy come up and want to take our picture with us. Not sure why he did not speak english just pointed to the ears and waved his camera and said picture, picture so we posed with him while some one took our picture with him. We were also invited to go up the captains quarters on the Mark Twain steamboat and learned about how it worked and then we got to pretend to drive and pull on the bells and whistles just like the captain. And we also got to hhave the back cabin on the monrail to our selves because of the hats it was pretty cool. And the Blue Bayou Restraunt was just absolutley awesome. So thanks again for all of your advice!
