Mulan looks the best and Cinderella looks the worst by far. Doesn't even look like Cinderella. Rapunzel and Merida look very young. I also think Jasmine looks more Indian than Arab.

Excited to see how this scene plays out. And if it is well received, will Disney do more with the princesses interacting. Also interesting that Anna, Elsa and Moana are included despite not being official.

Except Cinderella, they all look lovely. How did they manage to get her face so wrong? She looks nothing like herself.

It would be so much fun if they did an Avengers-type movie with all the Princesses.

You know, one thing I really like, no matter how the designs turned out, is that we can see all the current princesses in one style. Of course, we had the clip-arts of princesses in the line-up, but no picture of Moana was released like that (which is weird considering Anna and Elsa, while not officialy in the franchise, also got a new style clip-arts).

I always thought it would be fun to see a tv series with them interacting.

Seeing the close-ups on the redesigned Princesses, the two details that immediately jump out at me are:

Tiana's dimples. I remember that was something Anika Noni Rose had suggested to Mark Henn, when she started voicing Tiana, so it's good to see they kept that detail.
And they seem to have removed Rapunzel's overbite. Not sure why.

At least Aurora looked passable in the closeup, but probably due to her having her unique design already, haha :D!

Otherwise, I must say that the Princess-scene was still not as I had pictured it in my mind. Though I guessed that they would've been in a fluffy room, it was still differently than I was expecting.

eeeeh, Im still processing that second trailer. I was really expecting complete horribleness, and it indeed started out that way with all the awful product placement. But then it actually...wasnt so bad? Yeah it was tacky alright, but I was the expecting the princess stuff to be the worst thing but it... wasn't? I thought it was a cute silly scene... nothing more. I just wish we had an idea of the friggin PLOT! WHERE'S CALHOUN AND FELIX? :x
Oh the little retro toon looking Mr. know-it-all guy was adorable... love his design!

Yes, welcome to the forum, farerb! When a new member starts commenting without introducing himself/herself (which is perfectly fine, by the way), I don't know if that person would want the fact that they're new to be highlighted; that's why I didn't welcome you before. But I'm really glad you've joined the forum. :)

disneyprincess11 wrote:Anyway, I loved seeing Ralph and Vanellope again and I'm glad we get an explanation of the movie title, but WHERE IS THE STORY?! We know the worlds well, but WHY are they there? They're trying to save Sugar Rush (which is why Vanellope sleeping w/ Ralph), but explain that! How's Felix and Calhoun? Sugar Rush racers? Nicelanders? I'm really worried about their screen time. Rich Moore said the second plot is about Felix and Calhoun, so the wait must be worth it.
I think they're reserving that for the final trailer. After all, the release date is still more than five months away. I like the idea of them going to the Internet and the world-building in it, but I hope that what we see in the trailer is just a small portion of the film and that most of it takes place in an online game or something similar where they have to find the missing piece they're looking for. Just like in the first movie most of the story takes place in Sugar Rush. It would make the film more consistent with the first than if it only centers on the Internet and doesn't have much about gaming.

I strongly doubt it. At least until after the DVD/Blu-Ray release. I have to say that is not a flattering picture of them at all. Snow White looks like a non-Disney knock-off of herself and I do not know what the heck Merida, Belle, Mulan, and Jasmine are doing. I think it's a bit too soon for them to change their profile pictures.

Oh heckkkkkk yes, they will. I'm betting more than anything that a TV show is in the planning stages right now. They have hit a new high in the franchise.

I absolutely love the trailer. As I said before, I've already seen the full Disney Princess scene, which I found to be really funny. The design and animation on the search engine is excellent and I wonder how much of this bit where they make fun of the title came out of the Twitter response to it. I love the first Wreck-It Ralph, Rich Moore is a wonderful and witty director and this looks to also be something really special.

The trailer was cool. I love how they built such a world. It's impressive. I didn't like how Vanellope hates Disney cartoon characters and princesses. Poor Eeyore. Cinderella breaking her slipper is a thing that actually bothers me more than makes me laugh, but everything else about her and the scene I actually like (well, except for her design). I mean, Rapunzel saying what every cynical person says about the Disney Princesses is hilarious. And I LOVE that Pocahontas's hair constantly blows in the wind!

The princess scene was okay. Some parts of it were good, some were meh.

-Pocahontas' ever flowing hair...YES!!!
-They just all seem to break character. Such as when Snow White had to do her "ah ah ah !" at the end...I cringed. It wreaked the princess scene from Shrek 3.
-Mulan high-kicking in...AWESOME!!!
-At the end of the first film, Venelope hates Princesses so it seems out of place for her to be cool with everyone in that room.
