Coco won the Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature but lost in the Best Original Song category to "This Is Me" from The Greatest Showman.

Finally saw it today. After being underwhelmed by Pixar year after year after year, I was not expecting much. At the end I was ugly crying and when the credits rolled over I couldn't do anything but look at my side (towards an empty movie room) and ugly cry for more time than I would like to admit. Where did Pixar went "wrong" that made this so good?

Lol well glad you enjoyed the film that much as it deserves it!

This is the first animated feature Disney will release in 4K, right? Coco is the right movie for it, it will benefit a lot from the HDR

I don't get what's so special about the Brazilian trailer that would grant it an 'extra' status. Oh well. The extras look promising but I guess I would like to see a good, lengthy documentary about this production, not a bunch of glorified featurettes. Oh well.

This video is so terrible lol (and this isn't the best version of the song AT ALL). For anyone interested, check out Filipe Bragança's version. Disney Brasil announced Rogério as a "star casting" on the dub, but he dubs a really small role and his version of the song don't even play on the end credits, being replaced by Filipe's. It's funny because they come one after the other on the CD but it's the exact same thing, only replacing the main vocalist.

I guess this movie is out of most theaters now? I'm really upset, I somehow put off seeing this until it was too late. This would be the first time I haven't seen a pixar movie in theaters. Any chance of a limited re release? I know they did that with a number of of their movies, usually lasting 2 weeks or so.

I haven't even seen star wars (going to try to remedy that this week). And that is still playing. They released close enough to each other I figured if one was out so would the other.

I haven't seen any of the Disney made Star Wars films yet. Star Wars just isnt all that interesting to me despite the fact that I grew up with it as a kid in the 80's and have fond memories of watching them with my cousins on tv.

I do plan to eventually check out the main series, the one with the whiny emo Vader wannabe and General Hans, lol.
