Cool story, JimmyJackJr.! I've always loved Disney mostly for the parks, too. They've always been significantly different than other theme parks because of what you mentioned: the atmosphere. The magical theming and buildings and uncanny ability to make you forget of the real world is an odd and satisfying experience. Thanks for finally posting your story and I hope you and your daughter continue to make more DIsney memories!

Hi my name is Michael, and the film I'm most looking forward to is Mr. 3000. I'm 14, live in Georgia(love them peaches ) and my favorite film from Disney is Song of the South. Hey, I'm Krista and I'm 13. I live in Georgia. I don't exactly remember the first disney movie I watched, but I do remember how much I wanted to watch Mulan when it came out. I was dying the to see it. I never go to see it in theaters, but I did see it when it came out on VHS. I loved it. My disney fandom came from that movie. I also remember when I was little that there was this Lion King game on the old Sega Genesis. I would always rent it. Aside from Disney, I enjoy watching anime and reading manga. I hope to see you guys around the board.

Hi ... my name is Jessica and I'm 24 yrs old. I have been a member of this site for a few weeks now and have enjoyed getting to know everyone. I was introduced to disney by my mother. When I was growing up, she had to have every disney movie that came out on vhs. I decided to start my own collection of disney dvds and that is what led me to this site. I have always wanted to go to WDW ... but haven't made it there yet. My favorite Disney movies are Beauty and the Beast, Pete's Dragon, Robin Hood, Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, Summer Magic, and Darby O'Gill and the Little People (I luv Sean Connery!). I also like The Wizard of Oz, The 10th Kingdom, and the Harry Potter books and movies ... although the movie Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was a let down after reading the book first.

Hello all, I just realized that I haven't posted here yet. I just realized this is going to be my 200th post so I wanted to make it something special. My name is Adam Linder and I am 15 years old. My birthday is September 27! Soon! And I am obssesed with DVDs especially Disney. I go to school at a Jesuit High School in Houston texas. So if I dont post during the day you know where Im at. I live in Sugar Land, Texas. I dont know what profession I am going to go into, but it will probably be something to do with the Entertainment buisness. I have 2 brothers and a sister. I remeber when I was very young seeing my first Disney movie, 101 Dalmatians. And ever since then Ive been hooked on Disney movies and Tv. I love the Disney Channel and I have seen almost every Disney Channel Original Movie. I own 375 DVDs, and am officially broke! I am very glad to be here, around some of the nicest people I've ever met, and hope to stay here for a very long time.

I am kind of like Sofaking381222 on this one. I have been a member of the UD forum for quite sometime and never actually bothered to come and check out this thread. Dont ask why since even I dont have the answer to that one. But I guess better late than never so here it goes:

My name is Catalina and I am 18 years old and am from Daytona Beach Florida (50 mintues away from Disney world) I planded it that way lol. My Disney memories ever since i can remember I have been a Disney fanatic. I recall my room being decoreated with baby Mickey and Minnie stuff. I alos remeber having this baby Mickey doll that I carried everywhere with me my mom must have sewed his togethere 100xs and I still have him. Soon when I tunred around 2 years old I got my frist Disny movies which you might hear me talk a lot about : Lady and The Tramp, Cinderella, and Peter Pan. And basically it went from there since I was young child it has always been my dream to one day work for the mouse. When I was 10 years old my mom took me to Orlando Florida Disney World and where I celebreated my birthday. It was then I that I knew for sure that I had to move to that state (Since I am orignally from Houston Texas) And so it happend 3 years later my pearents split and my mom and I moved down there and yeah well I am here. Now I am even more obssesed I collect Disney DVDs what evere I can get my hands on basically. My favrotie Characters are Eeyore, Mickey and Stitch.(You might hear me talk baout them quite often as well) So thats my sotry small things here and there that have me totlay hooked. Again sorry that my story has come so in late into the ball game but what can you do ?

This was my original post, and after reading most of the posts here, that's not technically my story. So now that I'm not wired on caffeine, here's my real Disney story.

My name is Chris, I'm now 15, and I still live in the Disney world area (against what my mother told me to lie about where I live, as you may know I stated a few months ago about living in the UK or Massachusetts). My favorite Disney film is The Lion King, and my first vivid memory in life is actually seeing it in theaters and coming home telling my sister what she missed (she was 17 and was into that whole agnst thing). After that I was OBSESSED about Lion King stuff: I had LK sleeping bags, a playtent, sheets, viewfinders, and finally, the VHS tape, which we even got a special letter commemorating it's release, February 28, 1995. Then I became a fan of other Disney films like Pocahontas and Beauty and the Beast, but my favorites were always TLK, Bambi and Peter Pan. Around my seventh birthday, I went to go see Hunchback of Notre Dame, and was kinda dissapointed, but I had my interest resparked by Hercules. Then it was all Disney, all the time, all over again.

When it was my 14th birthday last May, I was ecstatic to learn Lion King was coming to DVD. My mom got me a copy of the original poster, framed, for my birthday. Now, sitting in my room, is a shrine to my favorite Disney film, complete with bonus lithographs and the official letter I got from the VHS tape from Blockbuster. Now, I am trying to find a poster for my newest favorite Disney films: Finding Nemo and Brother Bear, respectfully, to match my lithos.

And that is my REAL Disney story.

well, I could say than nobody have make laf of me because I like Bambi(must be the fact than I collect and know how to use many weapons<specially swords,maces,hook-chains,bo,sais and learning HTU tonfas>) or maybe it's because my weight record on the gym(225 lbs w/arms and 635 lbs whit my legs)
