I have so many issues with this, I don't know where to start.
• First of all, the princesses aren't meant to interact with each other. When the franchise was being formed in 2000-2001, Roy E. Disney was against it as he believed that lumping the princesses together robs them of their individuality and uniqueness and muddles the settings, eras, and timelines of their respective films. A compromise was reached where even though the princesses can be featured together, they can never acknowledge each other or interact with one another. Roy fought hard to keep the characters and their worlds separate and this scene undoes all that. This scene is not some commercial or promotional video or part of a TV show that's not canon and you can easily ignore. It's in a WDAS film making it canon which gives the way the princesses are depicted there, weight and significance.
• The issue of who is and who isn't a Disney princess is further complicated. Disney doesn't consider princesses just female characters who are royalty but whether or not they're part of the Disney Princess® brand. That's why characters who are princesses in their respective films aren't part of the line-up (e.g. Eilonwy), while characters who aren't, are (e.g. Mulan). Since 2010, in order for new characters to be inducted into the franchise, they need to have a coronation ceremony. This scene includes Vanellope, Elsa, Anna, and Moana who haven't been crowned and aren't part of the franchise but are grouped together with the official ones and are acknowledged as princesses, creating even more confusion and inconsistency.
• The princesses behave out of character as they tease each other and make passive-aggressive quips. The princesses are treated in a irreverent, mocking manner and are criticized for their gender politics. The whole scene is gratuitous and self-referential and comes across as an ill-conceived, fan-made product.
• The 2D princesses are rendered in CG, further ignoring their hand-drawn roots. I know the movie's CG, but they could have animated them in 2D and made a joke about the difference in medium. It could have worked.
Here are more details regarding the scene in question to form your own opinion about it.
Inside the room, the Disney princesses are shocked to see Vanellope. They all draw weapons -- Moana, Cinderella, Repunzel, Jasmine, Snow White, Ariel and more are ready to go. They question how she is a princess and gleefully tell horror stories of their origins. They call her a princess when they realize her life was great until a big strong man showed up. A Batman style transitions takes the clip to girls having a slumber party. Ariel starts singing about wearing a shirt for the first time and the princesses beg her to stop.
Vanellope calls the princesses cool because they're as messed up as anyone. Jasmine reveals she is allergic to cats despite hanging around a tiger all the time. C-3PO eventually enters and tells them they have five minutes. They call him R2-D2, then BB-8. He says he longs for the days of Captain Solo. Vanellope is happy to have met them and prepares to leave.

The clip showed Vanellope, in a website named OhMyDisney.com, meeting all the Disney princesses in the hopes of stirring up some trouble. But as she interacts with them — in ways that, in rapid succession, lovingly skewer the history and tropes of Disney animated classics and princesses — she develops a respect for them. And she gives them a wardrobe change.

The girls immediately question Vanellope’s right to be there, but she insists she’s a Princess too. Then she convinces them to ditch their elaborate wardrobes in favor of slacker sweatwear similar to her own, followed by a confession scene where Snow White admits she needs glasses and Jasmine confesses she’s actually allergic to cats.

Disney’s princesses cross paths with the galaxy’s most uptight droid. And they bicker. And they’re mean to each other. This really is the internet. When Vanellope turns up in their dressing room, the princesses react to the little glitch’s presence by leaping into attack mode: Merida draws her bow, Mulan points a sword, and Cinderella smashes a glass slipper and holds it out like a broken bottle.
Vanellope disarms them by explaining that she’s a princess, too, from the video game Sugar Rush. The women ask her a series of princess test questions to determine her bona fides. One of them is: “Do people assume all of your problems got solved because a big, strong man showed up?”
While Vanellope lavishes praise on their gowns, the princesses admire her casual street-wear. “I’ll get my mice on that!” Cinderella declares. Soon, all the princesses are lounging together in shorts, sweats, tank tops, and, as Ariel says, “What’s this called again…? Oh yeah, shirt.”
Before long, a stage manager enters to give them the 5-minute warning for the next performance. It’s C-3PO — everybody’s favorite golden fussbudget.
Cinderella, obviously irked, turns on him icily: “Why, thank you R2-D2.”
Sleeping Beauty shakes her head. “Stop … you know he hates to be called that,” she says, before calling out cheerfully: “We’ll be right there, BB-8!”
C-3PO shuffles out, muttering to himself. “Such insolence. ‘You’re good with princesses,’ they said. ‘You’ll love this job.’ … Oh, how I long for the days of Captain Solo.”
Moana tells Vanellope goodbye, and the little video game glitch goes in for some hugs — only to get an arched back and a rabid hiss from Meeko, Pocahontas’ raccoon.

As Wreck-It Ralph & Vanellope are scoping out OhMyDisney.com, they see a passel of Disney Princesses pass by (And who's keeping the crowd at bay as Ariel & associates are headed back to their break room? A squad of Stormtroopers from "Star Wars").
As soon as von Schweetz sees the extra-special treatment that all of this cartoon royalty is receiving, she turns to her OhMyDisney.com tour guide and says "Hey, what's the big deal with those broads?' Vanellope is then told that " ... "Those perfect models of femininity are known as the Princesses." Von Schweetz' immediate response to this news is "Let's go mess with them." When Vanellope is then told " ... The Princesses are off limits. You can't go messing with them," she laments "Now that's all I want to do."
Which is why - when no one is looking -- von Schweetz uses her glitching ability to gain access to the Disney Princesses' backstage break room. But things do not go well when Vanellope tries to introduce herself to this crowned crew. Startled to find this diminutive intruder suddenly in their midst, Belle & her buddies immediately go into defensive mode. First Pocahontas threatens to brain von Schweetz with her combination walking staff / Indian Club. And then Cinderella takes off one of her glass slippers and - after cracking it in two by suddenly slapping that shoe down on the edge of a nearby coffee table - threatens to cut Vanellope with its jagged edge.
But before it gets all "Game-of-Thrones" -y back there in the Disney Princess break room, von Schweetz blurts out "I'm a princess too." Which - as you'll recall from the end of the first "Wreck-It Ralph" (When Vanellope's code was finally restored, she was revealed to be [I'm quoting Sour Bill now] " ... the rightful ruler of Sugar Rush, Princess Vanellope") -- is true.
So the Disney Princesses then begin quizzing von Schweetz to determine exactly what kind of cartoon royalty she is. Rapunzel asks "Do you have magic hair?" Cinderella follows that by asking "Do animals talk to you?" asks Cinderella. Snow White wants to know "Did you eat poison?" Von Schweetz responds in the negative to all three of these questions. When Ariel asks her, ""Did you make a deal with an underwater sea witch who took your voice in exchange for a pair of human legs?," Vanellope's immediate horrified response is "No! Good lord, who would do that?"
That's some really sharp, funny writing there. But what really makes this sequence soar is that Walt Disney Feature Animation got the original voice actors to come back and read the lines that the "Wreck-It Ralph 2" story team had crafted for these characters. So that - when Princess Jasmine reveals that she's allergic to cats (Which would probably be incredibly problematic. Given that Jasmine's longtime pet / royal bodyguard is this immense Bengal Tiger called Rajah) - that's actually Linda Larkin who provides the grossly phlegmy cough which follows this very personal Disney Princess insight.
(Wait 'til you see how they handle poor Merida from "Brave"), it would be the equivalent of movie-goer malpractice to reveal too much more. Spoil the fun & surprise of seeing what the Disney Princesses are really like behind closed doors. But I think that Vanellope herself sums it up pretty well: "I always thought that princesses were perfect and boring. But you're pretty cool. You're just as messed up as the rest of us."
