Wow! That episode was better than Christmas! And say whatever you want, but Daenerys is a delightful character! I love all her contradictions and that heartbreaking scene with her dragons was the cherry on top of the cake! "A dragon isn't a slave!", she said to Kraznys last year...

That's strange. I haven't seen this season yet, but I thought one of the cast posted a picture of several stones arranged in the shape of a heart as a spoiler.thedisneyspirit wrote:No Lady Stoneheart...Shit.

More recasting: we'll have a new Myrcella next year. I don't understand why they keep doing this...

Tyrion should've mentioned Tysha, though. That was the main reason for what he did to Tywin.

Emilia Clarke gets a lot of hate but I never got it. I thought she was great in this episode. Such a heartbreaking scene.Old Fish Tale wrote:Wow! That episode was better than Christmas! As for the spoiler. If they did that this episode it would have been too much stuff crammed into one episode I think.

Tyrion's first wife. And the big reason why Tyrion kills his father in the first place in the books (also the big issue of why Tyrion only goes with whores, and has issues with women...)

It was a great finale. Can't wait for next season now.
I totally agree, that scene with Daenerys and her dragons was very emotional.
Can't wait to see the fallout from the Tyrion/Tywin murder on the toilet.
Wish they hadn't killed off Ygritte.

If you really can't wait for next season, you can always read the 5th book.

Maybe we'll see an old favorite next season...

If this happens, it'll be exciting, considering we don't really see the character from now on in the books...

Well that one was almost a given. I mean, Arya is sailing to Bravos.
As for Tysha, I can see why they cut her mention. At this point, Tyrion confronting Tywin is a culmination of everything between them, rather than just one thing.

Apparently Jim Broadbent has been cast for the next season, and Angela Lansbury is in talks! That is really out of left field. I would probably see the new season anyway, but it would be wonderful if Lansbury showed up on GoT of all places.
Btw, never posted here, and I'm not a big fan of GoT (I just follow it to find what happens to all the characters in the end, since the books'll never be finished, I guess), but I was so sad when the Tyrells were basically destroyed in one blow. The one consolation is the High Sparrow was annihilated, too, and I was glad he was the one who didn’t get to take out Margaery/Loras. And, honestly, as awful as Cersei is, I clapped when she got her revenge in the finale (against the p.o.s. HS and that scum of the earth nun). Too bad about Tommen, but his own weakness caused everything. At least Olenna is still around. I just wish she wasn’t teamed up with the Dorne crew… Eh.
