Well, to give my thoughts about the trailer (I haven't been able to be here as much due to not having a computer again); It's obvious that they're taking a cue from the original tale (Maurice picking the rose frome Beast's garden). I've ranted enough about my thoughts about Emma Watson as Belle, so I won't repeat myself. I still see Hermoine, but perhaps Emma could carry the role decently and she does suit the costumes. I found the design of the objects underwhelming and the visuals so-so. Josh Gad and Kevin Kline are immediatly recognizable in a funny way. Otherwise a fine trailer, though it didn't blew me away.

I don’t quite know why they’re doing it. I can’t understand what they’re going to do with it that will be better than what we’ve already done.
Good for her. The worst thing that could happen is for these lazy copycat remakes to become the definitive versions to younger generations over the animated masterpieces that radiate the years of hard work and creative heart and soul put into them.

Even a Hollywood and Broadway legend like Angela Lansbury knows that BATB is one of the most special projects she ever worked on and it's a shame its legacy might be diminished with this trash.

Here's the entire performance Alan Menken gave of "Our Song Lives On" (The audio quality is not very good at the beginning): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WzsYSt ... youtu.be&a

And these are the lyrics according to the blog that uploaded the video:
How does a moment last forever?
How can a story never die?
It is love we must hold onto
Never easy, but we try

Sometimes our happiness is captured
Somehow, our time and place stand still
Love lives on inside our hearts, and always will

Minutes turn to hours, days to years and gone
Thus, when all else has been forgotten
Still, our song lives on

How does a moment last forever?
How does our happiness endure?
Through the darkest of our troubles,
Love is beauty, love is pure

Love pays no mind to desolation
It flows like a river through the soul
protects, prevails and perseveres
And makes us whole

Minutes turn to hours, days to years and gone
Ah, when all else has been forgotten
Still, our song lives on

That's how a moment lasts forever,
When our song lives on...

Thank you, Sotiris, for the find! :) I was kinda disapointed that the trailer didn't have any new footage.

There was one new clip in the Japanese trailer. The exterior of the castle during the day!

Ooo now that is cool !

I saw the full trailer in the cinema with Moana and wow, it really is breathtaking on the big screen. Again, its the music more than anything in that trailer. Just fantastic.

Here's our first look at the objects in human form from a theater display:

Those costumes are really good. I know we've seen it already but I must remark the ballroom is also exquisitely gorgeous and pretty amazing, at least from what we can tell so far.

And another person who worked on the animated film that doesn't seem happy about this remake:

The costumes look much better in person than in the publicity stills.
