On Disney Movie Club's website, it notes that Aladdin is also one of the movies heading back into the vault and lists it as limited. I didn't realize Aladdin would go in the vault, that's rather soon but maybe that's just me.

I'm sorry but where are you getting these sources that a bunch of movies are going in the Vault soon. There is no indication of Aladdin going in the Vault in the DMC website.
And that "Get all the Princesses movies for a special deal for a limited time" only indicates the sale is, not the movies itself. I called Disney customer service and they said that there are no plans to vault anything anytime soon.

Yeah, I didn't think Aladdin was. However on a flyer I have from Disney Movie Club, it's advertised that The Little Mermaid, it's sequels, The Jungle Book 1 and 2, and as well as Cinderella and it's sequels are going in the vault on October 17th.

On the Disney Movie Club Website, it' says Jungle Book only available until October 17th. I took this picture.

Edit, this is where I was getting the list of the others, but I think they are just advertising that these are limited in general.

Looks like a Pinocchio: Signature Collection release will arrive January 24th, 2017.

Blu-ray.com

EDIT: Also found this, looks reliable but no idea if that's linked to the new release.

I already have the platinum edition so I can't imagine this edition adding anything of substantial value. But that cover is really gorgeous...even better than the platinum edition cover. I can't imagine Disney would ever use it though considering the typical quality of their covers.

Would it be possible just to get a poster with that art on it? Does Disney do that with cover art? I've never looked into it because I've never had a reason to, but I'd totally frame and hang that Pinocchio art on my wall in a heartbeat.

When I click on the source, nothing happens, it just says HTML expired.

I go on the DMC website and go to all of the movies you've listed and there is no indication of them being Vaulted.

isn't that art from the 1990's theatrical re-release poster?

The artwork is similar to the cover for the Platinum Edition, so I'm pretty sure it's linked to that release and not the upcoming Signature Edition.

Plus, on this page, the artwork is sandwiched between the artwork for a bunch of movies from 2009 (when the Platinum was released).
And I can't really see them going back to putting "Walt" back into the branding any time soon.

But the Signature covers so far haven't been too bad IMO, so Pinocchio still may have some hope yet (though we know the bonus features will be a far cry from the Platinum).

Thank You!

Sigh....I was hoping they stopped Vaulting the movies. It's so pointless now. And then with that they could expand the line up and give up that stupid 7 year rule.
Oh well, that dream will have to wait.

It's great to hear about Pinocchio though! That's my favorite Disney movie!

Especially because now people can import from Europe if a title is vaulted here.

On top of that with the wide variety of different ways of home entertainment.
Netflix
Digital Copy
online viewings
etc.

A movie being "vaulted" doesn't mean anything
whereas a movie being in the vault 10 years ago would have been a big deal, now......not so much.

They haven't vaulted a movie since Peter and that was ages ago (for Disney to vault a movie anyway).
I thought they'd finally give up on vaulting and keep up with the line ups for promotional reasons.

I really dislike the awkward close-up covers they've been doing for animated movies lately.

Yes it is. I remember it.

In other topics:

-True: if you have the original Platinum release you can bet it´ll be better than the Diamond release (as was the case for Sleeping Beauty).

-Regarding not carrying for movies been placed on the Vault cause of their availability on Europe...yes, but to an extent. You should remember/know that what´s available are the single disc/not labeled releases.

...I live in Spain now (from Puerto Rico) and I was precisely looking at the BD Disney movies and although all availaible they´re the single disc releases. So you won´t be able to get the Special Features.

Since there are no news of The Black Cauldron on BD. At this point, are we to believe that Disney will finally do it when they release or are about to the Chronicles of Prydain movies?
