Wow, I'm really surprised to see Pocahontas as #2, although that doesn't displease me. I think Pocahontas is highly underrated.

i too was surprised to see the result. Though i remember reading about disney shares dropping after the dismal opening weekend. all in all, i agree it is underrated and i think it is fortunate for not sticking to the 90's sidekick formula, and lacking the romantic comedy dialogues that somehow has aged hunchback and hercules. it is my favorite film for 21 years now.

It was a lot easier in the early 90's for one movie to sway the stock price. At that time, Disney didn't own ABC or ESPN, and there was no internet. It takes more force to turn an ocean liner than a speedboat.
