I can't remember right off, but I think he was in jail the last we saw him. The last we saw of Merida, she was on her way to fight Arthur, too, I think. I guess I can wave away their stories by assuming Merida ended up killing him. I can't remember if the Guinevere plot was resolved or not though, as far as her being under a spell.

Horrible season so far. Just an unfocused and dull mess and none of the newly introduced characters were remotely interesting. My GOD I hope the second half is better.

I'm sure you don't really want it to 'get better,' do you...? You have to be hate-watching, since you've said the same thing for years now. If it got better, you couldn't hate-watch anymore. (Not that there's anything wrong with that. I did it with American Idol during the JLO seasons.)

Either way, the first half seemed to get generally positive comments (as far as the OUAT fandom goes...) outside the two Merida episodes and the finale. Season 2 and the end of 4B were the only times where the negative outweighed the positive for me. I ended up enjoying 5A more than I expected at the end of last season, since I was not interested in the Dark One plotline at all coming into this. Merida and the Witch were well-acted at least and Arthur, Merlin, and Nimue are some of the series' best secondary characters, imo.

too bad, I liked Merida, the actress was just so good in her role. I dont hate-watch the show so much as LOL-watch it, it can be so cheesy and eye rolling at times, like when the dark one powers ended up with Rumple again and once again he lied to Belle. I think my eyes rolled out of my head, out the door of my room and into the kitchen. I mean, COME ON!

Yea, I think he was in jail. I just watched episode 8 of Season 5 online and he was put in jail there. I don't remember Merida going off to kill him. I doubt she did, but if that's the only thing that makes sense I guess we have to go with that. I don't believe Guinevere got the spell taken off her.

I like all the new characters except Guinevere and Nimue. I really hate Nimue. A lot. I feel she's super bland and uninteresting, as I find Guinevere. Sorry if you like both of them. Just differing opinions.

I've read Gaston will have a different actor than the first time he appeared on the show, and I think the same for Dorothy? I wonder why Sidney Glass would be showing up? Please don't tell me Regina killed him offscreen. That's what we need--another reason why she hasn't redeemed herself. Too bad the original "Young Baelfire" must've outgrown the role; I liked him. I would've rather they just used him anyway than re-casting. Also sad to see Pan and Cora only in the first episode back. Hopefully this means Merida won't be showing up again.

I don't get the hatred for the pic that I've seen ... thats the hair Hades has in the movie, so they've just duplicated it here .. ? Doesn't bother me at all.

Really looking forward to this arc, can't wait to see what they do with it.

It took me a few seconds to realize what I was actually looking at I know OUAT's special effects have always been panned, but this really drops the bar as low as it can go.

Did you guys see the new 100 Episodes recap they did? It reminded me of all the reasons I LOVE this show. Even for it's issues... it's the characters, and the twists on the tales, that I love so much!

Really? This is actually one of the better special effects that I have seen them do. Its a good representation for their version of Hades, and does it justice to that trait the he has i the movie, while keeping it grounded with the context of the series. Even if I did not know that he was going to be on this season I would have recognized him immediately.

Exactly !! Completely agree it was just wonderful ! Loved the Charming / Emma intertwining at the end with the ' I will find you ! I will always find you'.
