Nostalgia Disney: Dumbo's Circus and Welcome to Pooh Corner

Post by Patricier21 »

Please sign & share. It means a lot to me and others to see these truly great shows back. Given the recent greatness of current Disney Channel shows, these old favourites would work well playing alongside them for both a new generation and an older one in search of nostalgia and life lessons and morals long forgotten as they've grown up https://www.change.org/p/the-walt-disne ... m=copyLink

My late mother was a diehard vhs recorder in the 80s and had lots of episodes of both shows that she had recorded. Loved watching them when I was younger, would love to see both series released someday. They were both wonderful definitely good memories from my childhood.

If it wouldnt be too much to ask, could you please possibly upload the episodes from the VHS tapes? I believe that there are some stores where you can convert VHS to disc

Haven't seen those tapes in at least 5 years, sorry. I had older parents when my dad passed away in February of '10 at 85, my mom had Alzheimer's and hadn't lived in the home for about 5 months. Most everything either went to family or was donated to charity.

Np just if you happen to come across those tapes through other family members it would be appreciated if you would possibly be able to upload them as it means a lot to me and the person doing this project

Considering I believe my Sister in-law in California has my late parents video collection, I don't see that happening. Fingers crossed eventually Disney puts out both series. :)

Interesting facts on Dumbo's Circus below. You really should check it out on You Tube or wherever you can find it. Even as a kid's show it comes recommended. Well written and still teaches me important things to this very day (and i'm 23) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9dPNcPLXq4

I actually run the official social media for the voice of Dumbo from Dumbo's Circus, Miss. Katie Leigh! While she has no power over releasing the show on DVD, if you are a fan of the show you should visit her on Facebook and/or Twitter. We try to keep Dumbo in the line up of what we post about and I personally am trying to set up some cool things for fans of the show in the future. A few months ago I sat down with Katie and had her record intros to her soon-to-be newly launched website in about ten or so of her most popular character voices, and Dumbo was one of them. I have a few other ideas as well, so check it out!
