I saw the trailer, and yeah, it's gonna suck (don't get me started on that tagline), but I'm not surprised. I never really cared for the first movie that much, yet somehow I knew this was going to continue the story (since Burton's the producer and all). It could've been a chance to redeem the story, instead of using the same bland designs that Burton envisioned.

I agree. The Red and White Queens (Carter/Hathaway) are the only reason I didn't mind a sequel being made. The Cheshire Cat was nice, too.

I'm not sure who the guy in black was, but it looks like he somehow can cause time to go backwards (or time travel)? That's the only explanation I can find for the Jabberwocky reappearing. I'm looking forward to it anyway--it's pretty trash.

"You've been gone way too long, Alice". Yes, she has. Six years next year, haha.

And Alice falling from the door is hilarious.

I'm excited! Sure, it won't be very good. But I'm still excited! I mean, yea, Helena!

You're using the word definitively wrong. Definitively means the ultimate, best version of something. Maybe you meant the word definitely.

I am actually pretty excited about this movie after seeing the first trailer and the wonderful character posters (see Disney's Facebook pages) released for Alice, Mad Hatter, Red and White Queens, and Time.

I think the movie looks beautiful, epic and funny. Through the Looking Glass is certainly one of the movies I am looking most forward to in 2016^^

I'm excited, too. Yes, I'm properly ashamed of myself ( :P ), but the trailer made me wish this was coming out this winter.

Burton's original film is still one that I'm not totally sure how I feel about to this day. There was a time when I was pretty sure I didn't like it, but as time has gone on I still debate whether I didn't like it because it wasn't good, or because it wasn't what I was expecting. I think it's a bit of both. As an original story, it's actually pretty interesting once you get past that it's not what you originally expect plot-wise. I honestly think Burton's directions tanks it. The tone is inconsistent, and he even manages to get poor performances from otherwise good actors like Anne Hathaway.

I have hope for this movie, and won't automatically assume it'll suffer the same pratfalls the original did. However, if we recall, the trailers for the original were OUTSTANDING. So I won't assume this is going to be great from trailers alone, but I will definitely check it out. HBC doing her thing is enough to get me there.

Side note: having seen the Jabberwocky in the trailer, I wonder what role that character will play in the film this time around. If in fact the character does speak again, I'm interested how they will deal with Sir Christopher Lee's recent passing. He's not listed in the film on IMDb, so I'm guessing no tracks of him were recorded during filming.

The trailer was actually good and I have some optimism that Alice Through The Looking Glass might be better than the first film which I'm mixed about but entertained by. I really liked Cheshire Cat's rhyme that Linda Woolverton wrote, very mysterious. :)

Plus the art direction looks 1,000x better than the first film, at least this movie has a better sense of color and wonder.

New trailer, poster and a featurette about the film's music featuring P!nk. I don't know if it was already known or not, but she has recorded a cover of Jefferson Airplane’s ‘White Rabbit’ and has also written and original song for the film.

Great poster! Ce'st magnifique! Except I hate that the Mad Hatter is always made "the star" in the posters when the films are really about Alice.

I loved the new trailer! The story and visuals look so cool and the cover by P!nk is fantastic! But really, I'm excited for the movie!

I didn't realize Sacha Baron Cohen was Time! Hm, he seems good here!
