Very confusing? You're saying I was being sarcastic? I was joking.

Oh, no, no! I meant that what I said:

may have come off as sarcastic, but wasn intended to be more of a "don't worry about it" tone. :)

Ok, good. It's times like these that MBs are tone-limited.

My least favorite animated films (in no particular order):

The Lion King: This was the first time I felt slightly disappointed walking out of the theater of a Disney movie (in contrast to the excitement I felt after seeing The Little Mermaid, Beauty & The Beast and Aladdin). Sure there were catchy songs but I just didn't care about the characters much, or relate to them... maybe if Nala had a bigger part. :P

Atlantis: I was expecting to like this but even Michael J. Fox couldn't save it. Underdeveloped and cliched characters.

Finding Nemo (yeah I know Disney didn't have much to do with making this movie but I'm listing it anyway): I don't care how popular or acclaimed this movie is...I couldn't enjoy it or get lost in the story because I kept noticing plot holes that kept distracting me. Also found it emotionally manipulative, rather than genuinely moving. Great voice acting and animation, but...the movie annoyed me.

Brother Bear: incredibly derivative and nauseatingly cutesy. Forgettable songs.

Home On The Range: tries too hard to be funny and fails....forgettable songs again.... and really boring premise.

Basically I hate the most recent Disney movies because there's no joy or inspiration to be found in them. The animation dept. (what's left of it) doesn't have the freedom or support from the higher ups to be creative and...it shows. How can great stories be told in an environment of fear and greed?

Ok, prepare yourself....

Disney Movies I don't like:
Snow White
Pinocchio
Alice In Wonderland
Peter Pan
Sword in the Stone
Jungle Book
Aristocats
Black Cauldron
Fantasia
Dumbo
Bambi
Cinderella
Sleeping Beauty
Pocahontas
Fantasia 2000
Atlantis
Treasure Planet
Brother Bear

Movies I'd have to see again to make sure I really don't like them:
Emperors New Groove
Rescuers
Rescuers Down Under
Great Mouse Detective
Robin Hood
Adventures of Pooh
oh and all of the Package Films

Also the more times I watch The Lion King the less I like it... no idea why.

WOW! So you only like a small fraction of the Disney movies?? It's not often that you see that on this board.

Hey now, I do enjoy some of them, and I come here to hear about the latest dvd news for those that I enjoy.

Although now that I think about it, it may have been easier to just list the movies I do like..... :P

Iggie, he also said "and all of the package films," so that would make your list even smaller.

Haha, i don't eat a lot of icecream and I have never been to a disney themepark. But ok I'll give you my favorites list.

Aladdin
Beauty and the Beast
The Fox And The Hound
Hercules
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Lady And The Tramp
Lilo & Stitch
The Lion King
The Little Mermaid
Mulan
Oliver And Company
101 Dalmatians
Tarzan

Mulan & Lilo And Stitch being my two most loved.

All these are also the only disney features that I have or plan to have in my dvd collection. And to keep any speculation from happening, yes I do have various other disney dvd's that aren't the 45 features, for example some pixar and some treasures etc..

I have not seen all of the 45 features so of course I can't put them on either list. Also I may end up liking the ones I said I had to watch again, so that could add more to this list.

i got a few Disney Classics I can't stand: :) I won't include any of the "classics" from the 40's because they are rather enjoyable little skits as long as you don' try to sit through the entire feature.

The Sword in the Stone
The Aristocats
Oliver & Company
The Rescuers Down Under
Hercules
