I didn't realize he was suffering w/ Parkinson's these past few years.

I loved all his Disney films.

Dean was one of those actors who was able to come off as likable and entertaining in just about anything he does, no matter how bad the script was. That takes some serious talent, but of course he was great in his best films. That goes without saying, as anyone who has seen That Darn Cat! or The Love Bug can attest to.

I agree Avaitor, except for Beethoven where he was just plain evil in that film. It's hard for me to equate the Disney version of Dean Jones in that movie.

Grew up with his Disney films, great actor have since discovered his other work. Parkinson's is a horrible disease, but 84 what a life. May he RIP.

So sad to hear...so many fond memories of him in different productions throughout my childhood.
