This is a topic I spend hours scouring the Internet and YouTube for (especially now that bonus features are so scarce); footage of our favourite actors being given life in the recording booth.
I thought maybe we could share videos, articles, rare finds etc on how lines were recorded, outtakes, behind the scenes etc !
I'll start with my absolute favourite .... Jodi Benson with Howard Ashman recording 'Part Of Your World';

It's just so wonderful to see this amazing and iconic song being arranged to slowly become what we know it to be today. Little bit Jodi and a lot of Howard.

Re: Disney Voice Actors At Work
Sorry to double post ....
But is there any record anywhere of any of the Snow White cast recoding their dialogue ? I know they weren't even credited at the time, but wondered if there were any photos or anything ? Or record of Adriana Caselotti going back to record for the Snow White ride and park attractions ?

My fav is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pi_Ocd9IALc Brad Kane and Lea Salonga recording A Whole New World.
Seeing the actors record is always my favourite part of any documentary or making of on the DVDs/BDs and they never show enough. It's always the smallest bit of footage and I want more darn it!

Oh gosh that was pretty magical !!
I know what you mean, it's always the zoomed past section which is so annoying. Especially as they say they always film the voice actors for reference ... It would be lovely to have that as a feature somewhere.

Besides the ones already listed, I've always enjoyed the videos of Lansbury and Orbach singing "Be Our Guest." I wonder if the Fab Four just had more bonus features over the years, because not many are coming to mind. Seeing Eartha Kitt perform as Yzma would probably be hilarious.

Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"

Oh wow I've never seen that ? Will have a youtube search...or is it on a DVD / Bluray release ?
I don't have it to hand right now, but I love the Alice in Wonderland / Peter Pan footage of the live action reference. I've never been quite sure, but it always seemed to me that they acted the scenes out dubbed to their own voices ? Unless the track was edited over the live action footage ? That's a really fascinating process for me, watching the live action reference.
