Disney Music Emporium is a great way for Disney to cater to their fans. But their online store could have been better.

If one follows this link, one can find vinyl LPs for Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King. One can also chose to buy the Cinderella Legacy release without a print (just the CD), an option not available (yet) on the Disney Music Emporium main site/store:
http://store.disneymusicemporium.com/

These releases, and several other releases found here, are not (yet/longer) available on the Disney Music Emporium main site/store, the version of the site/store that I guess most people visit: http://www.disneymusicemporium.com/shop/

Disney should fix this. I discovered their vinyl LPs by chance.

The covers seem to have got better over time. The Toy Story and Aristocats art work looks quite nice.

Is Pocahontas the only soundtrack that extends to the second disc?

Interesting... but I'm pretty sure they did it to make it look like the second disc has a lot of tracks.
But I am getting this soundtrack regardless. It's in my opinion, the best thing that Alan Menken has scored and i absolutely love the lyrics to the songs.

Really glad that we're finally getting If I never knew you!!

Also, here's to hoping that the farewell score doesn't have the reprise. I think it's better without it. :)

I hope this will have the original lyrics for "Savages," but I won't be disappointed regardless. I can't wait to see the cover--I'm guessing Pocahontas in her canoe, but I'd love if it's a shot of Pocahontas under Grandmother Willow.

While I agree, the movie is better without the reprise, I would like to have it included here since I already have a soundtrack without it.

What do you mean by original lyrics?
Have they been changed?

I'm pretty sure the original soundtrack features all of the "offensive" lyrics, and the changes were just made for the movie.

1. "What can you expect/ from filthy little heathens?/ Their whole disgusting race is like a curse!" was changed to "What can you expect/ from filthy little heathens?/ Here's what you get when the races are diverse!"

2. "Let's go kill a few, men!" was changed to "Let's go get a few men!"

3. "Dirty redskin devils, now we sound the drums of war!" was changed to "Dirty shrieking devils, now we sound the drums of war!"

That's an impressive track list for Pocahontas. I have yet to purchase any CD in this collection, but I may have to pick up this one. If not, I'll eventually get it alongside The Little Mermaid.

Oh, and I just looked at the time for "Farewell" and it seems to be a bit longer than the track on the previous release. Perhaps it'll include the "If I Never Knew You" reprise?

I'm surprised we haven't seen the cover for this yet. It's the last one we haven't seen and it's less than a month away now isn't it?

Same. I'm thinking of getting Pocahontas, Aristocats (since it never really got a proper soundtrack release before) and Fantasia.

Thanks Chernabog!

So happy IINKY is included. All I have is a crappy rip from YouTube I've had like 7 years.

I didn't want to rip it but Disney didn't present me with a legal alternative.
Settling Soul mates? That is grim. And I've played Monopoly alone.

Yeah, there's a very brief reprise sung between Pocahontas and John Smith right before the ship takes off, which may account for the longer run time.

Just for clarification, "Pocahontas Legacy Collection" comes out August 7th now (at all outlets) instead of July 21st now?

Thanks for the tracklist, Chernabog!

Are there any other existing tracks that seemed longer than the original soundtrack version? Say... steady as the beating drum with the extra percussion, just around the riverbend with the cute intro? I hope they wont screw it up like with little mermaid...

Here's a link to the MP3 version of the original CD on Amazon (which should be the exact same as the physical release).

Disney should really use this opportunity to feature the "If I Never Knew You (Reprise)" track on this release. It is supposed to be the ultimate, complete edition, and people who want only the instrumental version of the track "Farewell" could get that on the standard CD sountrack or on iTunes.
