Here´s hoping the designs change or the final figures end up much better.

For me, I´ll be getting for sure Facilier (would have been much better with face painted with the skull) and maybe Regina; don´t get OUAT stuff but would make and exception with her.

Glad to see they are going the "Mrs. Potts & Chip" route with some of these characters and including the side-kicks at a smaller size. Hope to see a new Ariel pop (without that ugly flower she wears for all of two minutes) that includes a Flounder mini. Maybe Triton and Sebastian, Usula with Floatsam and Jetsam and Eric and Scuttle? Little Mermaid just lends itself to the mini sidekick thing so well. Pocahontas could come with Flit, John Smith with Meeko and Radcliffe with Percy too! So many possibilities.

I agree, I hope they do this more in future. I never would've bought a frog Naveen, so I'm glad he'll be included with Tiana. Plus, it makes me more likely to buy a character like Mushu because it includes more than one. While on the subject, I'd love if they put Archimedes on the top of Merlin's hat when they make him (just saying that because I remember those drawings that had Archimedes as a separate pop).

Thanks for posting the images, taei. I think they get taken down over on the Funko forum...which doesn't make sense to me. (I mean, it's just creating hype for your product, right? Once they're out there, they're out there. Might as well let them stay...) So, Pocahontas isn't at the design stage yet? Who do you think we'll see? Pocahontas herself is obvious. But, John Smith? Meeko? Ratcliffe? Love Facilier. Frankly, I'm glad that he doesn't have the voodoo face-paint, as that would make an easy variant, and we will hopefully get BOTH. (Glow in the dark, too, perhaps? I could see it being a Hot Topic exclusive...) I'm really surprised we still have nothing on Aladdin. Wasn't he announced, like, early last year? Are they delaying him to do a new Aladdin wave when the Diamond Edition rolls out? (Shame Cruella's retired... I'm sure the 101 Dalmatians Diamond Edition would have sold some stock.)

As for the sidekicks coming with the main figures... Man, it just makes me a little upset that they've decided to do this AFTER releasing the big-name villains with little sidekicks. Jafar, especially, should have had Iago, either on his shoulder, or perched on the head of the Cobra Staff. Same with Maleficent and Diablo. Maybe they'll do a little LeFou for Gaston? That'd be cute.

It is very likely we haven't seen all of the new Disney Pops yet. The Spring catalog is always huge. We have gotten but a taste yet. Funko wanted it off their main fan sites so as to not spoil their reveals this weekend. Funko has always had a big presence at Toy Fair and with the exploding popularity of the POP line I expect this year will be the biggest yet.

@Professor Ratigan: There's always the chance they'll include Iago with a future version of Jafar? Of course, it might be that they plan to make him as his own pop like Timon.

I know this is off-topic, but anyone have thoughts on the Harry Potter reveals? I admit I didn't expect to like them since I assumed (rightly) that they would be copying the film actors and not the book descriptions, but I think I will get Dumbledore when they're released. I'm just so thankful they based the pop on Richard Harris and not Michael Gambon, otherwise I wouldn't have got that one either. As far as future pops, the only ones I can imagine would turn out good for me are Umbridge, Mrs. Weasley, and *possibly* Luna Lovegood and McGonagall depending on what the clothes/colors they use. I'm a huge fan of the books, but the films and pops, not too much.

I've only seen that name thrown around, but I ignore their other products. I looked up Ursula, and I wouldn't mind having that. Is there a way to specifically buy the one(s) you want, or do you have to keep buying until hopefully the box you open holds the character you want? Because if it's the latter, they won't be getting any money from me there.

It's the latter. They're just like Vinylmations. Blind-boxed. The only way to guarantee you get the ones you want is to buy them individually on eBay. (I had to do that with their Riddler and Penguin DC Mystery Minis. Didn't pay much for mine, but, then, mine weren't the ones with ridiculous ratios.)

I've never been big on Mystery Minis, but that Heroes Vs Villains set is super tempting. I hope the ratios are good. I feel like a set like this will all be 1/12. Some questionable choices (why Jasmine and Heimlich instead of Flik and Aladdin?), but I am really happy they put Anna in over Elsa. Anna needs some love in the merchandise department and the "It's not nice to throw people!" scene is a great one to capture this way.

The Cars pops are hideous. Still hoping once the catalog finally makes in online in its entirety that we will see some more Disney surprises, other wise I'm a bit disappointed. Harry Potter pops do help make up for it though, and I am oddly drawn to the Sesame Street line as well despite not having a strong connection to the show.

My wallet is going to take a hit this year for sure.

I managed to get the Hot Topic exclusive for Elsa (with scepter/orb)! I haven't got any of the rest yet, I'll wait for the right price. Hopefully, Marshmallow will be released solo at some point.

Anyway, I was vaguely disappointed to read that most of the pops that they revealed won't be coming until July-October-ish. I thought these first reveals were, well, the "first"--intended for early 2015. If this ends up nearly all of what we're getting this year, I am a little down. Especially considering most of the non-Frozen/Inside Out lines aren't getting more than 2 pops. But Frozen's second series gets 6. Cars is getting 5...! I suppose I should take into account all their other properties (like OUAT, Star Wars, etc.) that are getting pop treatment, but I can't lie and pretend it isn't a letdown. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Pocahontas is the only pop released for Pocahontas.

I've kind of just learnt to live and learn when it comes to Funko POPs.

I never thought that we'd betting Princess and the Frog or Mulan, and having at least 2 is better than nothing.

The problem with this whole Frozen situation is that a lot of people are all talk and no action.
Everyone always complains because Frozen gets a lot of merchandise and shelf space, but can you blame those companies? Why are we throwing them under the bus when they are acting as a business should act? It's not their fault that their consumers are demanding for more and more Frozen products and the other Disney movies (especially the ethnic ones) are being sidelined. They go with the flow.

Sorry, I just had to get that out.

Now for the actual Funko Pop situations.
I too am saddened that these companies are skimping out on these characters. I at least wanted Charlotte instead of Ray. And especially Gothel and Flynn instead of Max.

It is disappointing, but maybe they are holding them back due to licensing issues or maybe they're gonna be exclusives. I would be happy if all the villains were hot topic exclusives.

Maybe have a series with Hans, Gothel, Hades, Frollo...

As for the Frozen exclusives, I just got Coronation Elsa (with orb and scepter) and Upside down olaf.
If I had to pick one out of these two, I would get Elsa. The Orb and Scepter are nice, plus, I prefer Elsa in her coronation outfit way more than her snow queen gown.
Now bring in:
1. One glove Elsa
2. Coronation Elsa No cape with snow flake (First Let it Go verse)
3. Coronation Elsa with no gloves, no tiara, and hair down (Last Let it Go verse) - Bonus: All Rosemaling on dress is white and she glitter (mid dress transformation)



On a side note, I really want a Hunchback Collection.

And one more thing...
They're coming out with a mystery mini series called Villains VS Heroes.
I have no idea why Jasmine is pitted against Jafar and it is somewhat clear to me that they might not have the rights for Aladdin.

So, today I got Prince John.

I´m AMAZED on how great the figure is but on top of that how big he is. He´s bigger than Ursula!

...I get that Ursula was one of the first waves, still.

Now I´m only missing Captain Hook from my villain collection. I wonder when I´ll be able to get him. But I will somehow.

Please, I beg of you...

I started my Funko Disney Villains collection because I always loved them but, the prices that Disney sells their merchandise, I couldn´t get them; or even have the most figures of them since not all are available. I knew that several were discontinued but yet I could get most of them easily through my comic book store. So have them all except...Captain Hook.

Please, if you know where to find him (at a reasonable price) let me know. Send me a private message. I don´t want to have my collection incomplete; more so for just one figure.

Wouldn't be surprised if Hot Topic got a Rapunzel variant with either Glitter hair, Glow in the dark hair, or Clear gold hair. Personally, I think glow in the dark would be perfect.
My biggest problems with rapunzel is that her hair is dark and the dress is really lacking in the detail department.

I'm still pissed off cause they didn't make a Gothel figure, EVEN THOUGH THEY MADE A MINI-FIGURE!
Maybe they will release a villains line? Because I want Hans and Gaston too!
